Annie the Beagle
Annie's mom says: Annie was born in Orange County and was one of the only girls in her litter. After seeing her look into my eyes for the first time I knew she had to come home with me! She has black spots on her back that makes her look like a little cow. Her head used to be all black but is slowly turning brown as she grows. She is very sweet and playful and loves to goto the dog park where she is always the fastest runner! For that reason,she has also become a great jogging partner. When she's not stealing socks or chasing her owners around the kitchen, she loves to sleep on the back of the couch or snuggle under the blankets.
Stealing socks is just the beginning. With eyes as soulful as these, she could get away with anything! Beautiful! 11 cookies.

She's a real cutie, but that's not looking like a sock there. Hope you have lots of years of snuggling under the blankets. With a pretty face like that, I'm pretty sure she charms her way out of trouble. Give those nose freckles lots of smooches
my beagle mix gives me this look almost every day, especially when i won't get off the computer and go snuggle with him on the couch!

She is a beauty! - this picture reminds me of my beagle mix who is curled up next to me right now. She is always chewing on something and I spend half of my day picking up her toys only to have her go and take them all out again.

Annie is beautiful! Such vibrant markings and coloring. I have the pleasure of fostering Gracie the beagle and I am forever in love with this girl. She helped me in the yard yesterday by ripping open my mulch and digging fresh holes in the yard. She loves snuggling under the blankets with me and I love listening to her snore. She goes to her new home tomorrow and I know she will always be in my heart and memories. Enjoy Annie -have you heard her first bay?
I love the sound. She only does it when my dog takes her toy and won't give it back. LOL

Oh, what a beauty!! And "Annie" is a great name for her! My very first pet was a beagle, so they have always had a special place in my heart. Our Rudolf (don't ask) was almost 19 when he finally passed on, after a long wonderful life of loving him and him loving us back! :) They're just awesome dogs!

I always get this same look from my Eskie... the "What? I have NO idea how that got there" when he's chewing on something he shouldn't be. (Usually it's cotton balls) - it always makes me say, "Hey, looks like you got a little something in your teeth...."

You have a beautiful little girl. I adopted my Beagle, Buddy when he was 5, so I missed the puppy time. I hope you enjoy the love and laughter you will recieve from your little girl. Buddy & I go to a nursing home a few days a week. He just sits and lets people love him, which does wonders for them.

Annie is lovely, but I hope everyone knows that dogs shouldn't be asked to do forced exercise such as jogging until they're around 18 months old.

I have a beagle too and they are so much fun. Glad to hear that you are providing her with the opportunity to exercise as she needs. I call mine the "Energizer Beagle" because she just keeps on going, and going, and going...
About that comment before, the "no jogging before 18 months," that's not entirely true. Large breeds take much longer to mature physically, and their bones stay soft longer, so it is true that you shouldn't do a lot of running on hard pavement with a young, large-breed dog (Great Danes can take 3 to 4 years to reach adult size!!!) Running on softer ground with anything but a true giant breed is fine. Small dogs mature a lot sooner, and can withstand exercise from an early age.

She is beautiful. I've been a beagle mom for many years. Annie reminds me of beagles I have known and loved. Daisy, my constant companion when my Marine husband was in VietNam; Eloise who thought she was my daughter's nanny; and Huckleberry Hound, my daughter's beagle. We take Huck with us to visit her at college. Beagles are so happy and every beagle lover has to love that soulful baying. Happy, happy times to you and Annie.

My husband checks out this site daily, and told me I had to meet Annie. He was right! We have a beagle bluetick cross rescue so have a fondness for beagles anyway, but Annie is exceptionally darling! What a sweet face!! She even beats Shiloh - the Daily Puppy poster boy. Can't believe everyone didn't give her eleventy-one biscuits, so here's a million for you, Annie, you precious thing you.
Annie is a lovely baby. The modeling gigs do get tiring though, and can reduce grownups to tears, never mind little Annie. With an aboudance of cookies and belly rubs and a quick nap she will be ready to go again. May you have years of good health and happiness with your cutie.
