Axel the Australian Cattle Dog Mix
Axel is very active and loves to chew on anything and everything. His favorite spot to sleep is on the shoes by the front door. He also enjoys playing with his big sister Bella, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They're just the right size to play together at the moment, but he's soon to outgrow her. He's a very happy puppy and a great addition to our family.
I looove mixed breeds and you can see that Alex is one happy, entertaining puppy! I love to watch their personalities develop and also their idiosyncrasies :D Alex has special eyes! Cute is hardly adequate for Axel. His face reflects the intelligence and keeness of his working dog heritage. I do hope his owner knows how to channel his energies productively cuz I'm guessing this little dog would LOVE someone to teach him things he can be praised for.

First time for me to comment, but I couldn't resist. Axel looks so much like my rescued cattle dog mix, Freckles, who is now 10 years old and still full of energy. Her coloring is the same except that her solid brown is limited to her ears - no "mask" like Axel. The rescue group thinks there might be some dingo in there somewhere because of the big ears(Freckles and her litter-mates were found at about 10 weeks old running wild in a pretty desolate area in Arizona). Try Axel out on agility when he gets a little older - these dogs learn incredibly fast and love to have a job to do!
Awww! Axel you are the puppy bomb!..Would love to watch this pups changes...In his bio you mentioned he likes to sleep on the shoes at the door. Brought me back to my Damian (cocker) we adopted from the pound. He loved to pull off my socks at night & sleep with his head on them. So far I have owned 2 Australian Cattle dogs. They are such a great breed. Very smart and very funny to watch. I love them

Sweetie qutie Boy! I just love him, and I want to caddle with him. I went through all of his 18 pictures, I saw his big sister Bella, who btw, is adorable as well! Axel looks like absolutely charming and one of a kind mix of a fox and a dog! He obviestly prefers sneakers to pillows, and looks very happy on avery picture! And what a smile on shot #18!
