Brixa the Great Dane
Brixa's mom says: Meet Brixa, (Lieben Sie Fraulein Brixa, which means Love Miss Brixa in German), she is a Mantle Merle Great Dane, born on Nov. 15, 2007. She is a "plastic surgeon" or so she thinks.. I call her this b/c she is frequently doing open squeaky surgery on her stuffed animals.. there are not many toys that she can not and will not completely destroy within a matter of minutes.She's my little princess, I don't think you could quite possibly get as spoiled as she is.. soon she'll be my "big" princess though! With all of her little antics, it's hard to get angry with her over anything!! Including, but not limited too.. eating my Gucci shoes!! Even as a pup, she has already started to counter surf, which we Great Dane lovers are so very familiar with!! She sticks her monstrous paws on the counter, and sniffles around for whatever she can find! What a sight! When she's not doing that.. she's romping around outside, chasing bad guys and eating oranges.. what a life for Miss Brixa! :)
This is clearly one spoiled puppy. She'll devour attention [and treats] like a vortex...and repay you 10,000-fold :) 11 X-Large biscuits for your Princess.

I love Danes - though I've never had the privilege of being owned by one - and I think she's probably the most beautiful Dane I've ever seen! This picture is too cute!!! I love it when we capture our precious dogs playing with ears flying. I think you are an amazing human for allowing Brixa to chew on one of your Gucci shoes....but in her defense, she needed good, quality leather to chew.:) I also loved the part about her putting paws on the counter to smell....I have a small breed and that just could not happen. Brixa is very cute and I would love to have a Great Dane.

I have fallen in love.......again..haha ( I fall in love every morning when I open my laptop to The Daily Puppy.) But, what a beautiful girl you have! Your Brixa is stunning. So many cute pictures, it was hard to pick a favorite. My chubby, little Chihuahua "thinks" he's a Great Dane....But now that I look close at the pictures of Brixa, I can see the difference.......(that was a joke in case anyone thinks I lost touch with reality) hahahah

I remember my first encounter with 3 huge Great Danes who lived down the road where I used to live....they terrified me at first as I walked my dog, they looked like Shetland Ponies running out at me, I soon learned they were gentle giants and I could scold them in a threatening Mommy voice and they would back up and look at me like I was the threat...ha ha. Seriously though, I absolutely love Brixa's comic look and I bet it's wonderful to be constantly amused by her silly antics. Lots of love and 11 huge biscuits for this beauty! Long live Brixa! xoxo

Such a pretty girl! I love all her pics, seems like she's always in motion! Regarding counter surfing: our 2 dogs Demo and Dezi[Demolition & Destruction}stole the turkey right off the counter one Thanksgiving! [There's a good reason for their names, y'all]. Just one of the happy daily life occurences of having a big dog, right? enjoy your baby Brixa- and don't leave the turkey out!

She is very beautiful, a long and happy life with her. Those paws are enormous, she is going to be a very big girl. I love the Great Dane breed, their personality. 30 years ago, we had one and people would be sitting around our cocktail table and suddenly this big dog would come crawling out from under it and stand up and no one could believe that it had been under the table. He was a wonderful dog. They are a wonderful breed.
Danes are the sweetest, most incredible dogs EVER!!! Enjoy and wonderful life with little Brixa!!

What an amazingly stunning puppy you have there. Great Danes are my favourite breed, Harlequin has always been my fave but I think I have found another one, her markings are just gorgeous.
Nothing but legs too at the moment. They're so funny watching run and walking around when they have such lanky legs.
I'm the same with my puppy, shes so hard to be mad at. They give you the eyes and all of a sudden your giving them cuddles, even if they did just chew up your fave pair of Gucci shoes.
She is going to be massive.

Miss Brixa is beautiful! She is certainly going to be one large dog.
Her pictures are all wonderful - love those ears and her coloring.
The counter surfing seems to be a trait of many large dogs - my Yellow lab does it right under your eyes if you leave even an inch of counter space unprotected. Only one dog ever ate my shoes - but it was my dress military shoes on the day of an inspection!!!

She's gorgeous!! 11 biscuits for sure. The merle color is so breath taking. I've always been a fan of merle colored dogs. Not that i've ever seen a Pekingese in those colors, but I sure would love to have one that way. I hope you have many long, happy years with your beautiful Brixa.

She is an exact clone of our Dane Madison. It brings back such great memories of puppy days. She's two now and over 150lbs. We wish you many happy years together. You are lucky to have eachother. Enjoy the young years. By the way I LOVE the natural ears. Maddy has natural ears too.

There are many times, on busy days, that I just stop by to register my vote and I don't leave a comment--- and I don't look at the pictures over and over again. But I have kept coming back to Brixa all day long and into the evening. She is so beautiful and elegant, yet so playful and goofy--- I hardly know what to say about her! I'm in love with her, clearly, and I so wish I could see her in person! Long ago my first love had a Dane, and I've liked the breed ever since--- despite the fact that she broke everything her wagging tail could reach!
