Chewy's parents say: Chewy came to live with us when he was just over ten weeks old. He's a sweet-tempered cocker spaniel / bichon frise mix with lots of energy who loves to play and explore the backyard. He's smart and has already learned to come, to sit, and to give high fives. He still takes plenty of naps, but when he's awake he wants to be in the middle of everything. He loves going for rides in the car and chasing anything that you throw for him, especially Frisbees that are bigger than he is. The reason that he was named Chewy depends on who you talk to. One reason is because he was, and still is, in the puppy-chewing phase. Another is that his fur looked a little like Chewbacca's from the movie Star Wars -- only Chewy's fur is white and very soft. But whatever the reason for his name, he's been a great addition to our family and we all look forward to watching him grow up.
This dog is one of the cutest I have seen in awhile. I want one just like him. He almost looks like a stuffed animal. He needs more than 11 bones.

Oh my GOD, what a cutie! I love this dog! Love the sleepy pic, but the one with the "giant" frisbee is classic, too. I have a cockapoo now, but my next dog might have to be a "cockafrise." ;) Bunches of snuggles to Chewy (who always was my favorite [i]Star Wars[/i] creature).

We often call our Siberian Husky "Chewbacca" because when he howls/talks he sounds just like him!

Love, thy name is Chewie! I think that I am melting and it has nothing to do with the temperatures out side! I think this is the cutest combo puppy I have seen in a long while! You have your hands full, I can just tell by the look in that face. Enjoy, every minute of every day. Oh, yes and the sleeping picture is my favorite, because its like every little child ever born. When they are asleep you have no clue how much trouble they will get into when they are awake. Loads of bisquits and tummy rubs for little Chewy.

He is so cute. Being cocker/bichon mix I see a lot of daily brushing. I love the name and however he got it, I am sure he will out grow the actual "chewing". The first pic is adorable with just a small pant and the big brown eyes! Hope you can outlast when he is looking at you for "extra" snacks with food. Just too cute...

This is the first comment I have left and as the mom of a Bichon, I just couldn't resist! Your Chewy resembles our Wolfgang so much it is uncanny - especially as a puppy. I just love the long Bichon tongue. I wish you many, many happy years with your puppy. If Chewy has a Bichon's personality, you have certainly been blessed!

Love this little guy! I have white toy poodle. She gets a little sleep in the eyes and some stain. To avoid this in a white dog, after bathing add a small bit of vaseline around under the eye. The moisture will not stick!
