Coco-nut the Puggle
Coconut says: My name is Coco-Nut, I used to live in Vegas but now have found a better place in the beautiful San Francisco. I am a Puggle, my mom was a Beagle and my dad a Pug. I was born on Thanksgiving day 2007 and I love my new mom and dad, they think I am a princess. The days that I listen to them and am a good girl, I am called Coco but the days that I am naughty they call me Nut. I love running around the house and going up and down the stairs is my specialty. My favorite toy is mommy's Tigger slippers, I bite it like there is no tomorrow.

I have a puggle too! His name is Boomer, he's 2.7 years old and currently snoring under the blanket next to me! He still runs around like crazy and destroys stuffed toys in the blink of an eye; but he loves to snuggle too!

What a face! I started my day looking at pictures of puppies trying to climb the mountain (stairs) which was a hoot, and now I see this adorable little face. I tell you there is no better way to start a day. Little Coco-Nut will probably live up to her name over the years if she has any of the Pug qualities; although Beagles can be funny too. How adorable she is!!! As a mom of 3 beagles, when my son told me he was getting a puggle, I was a bit hesitant.. all that vanished when I first saw his dog, the breed is gorgeous and their personalities loving, playful and loyal! Hi your dog is soo adorable. I noticed in some of the pics coco-nut has a cherry eye. One of my boston terrier's had this same thing develop as a puppy and he had to have surgery to remove it. The vet told us that there is a risk of damage to the eye if the cherry eye was to burst. Just wanted to pass on the information. Take care of that sweet little baby.
Looks like coco-nut may have a cherry eye. My boston had that as a puppy. Our vet performed surgery and removed it. Cherry eyes can burst and cause damage to the dogs eye. Just wanted to pass on the information.
OMG...your baby is cuter than cute. I opened up the page and let out an audible "Awwww, look at the widdle puppy." and then made stupid baby noises and wanted to pet those cute ears and play with her wee paws.
I agree with CBinID, Pink is totally her color :)
PS If the dog was born on Thanksgiving, and it's February now, the parents of this little one have probably gotten her cherry eye taken care of. But fyi for other puppy owners whose dogs have this issue, it can be easily removed so don't panic if this is going on with your dog. Just take him/her to the vet asap.

A fantastical combo- I think you are so lucky. I used to have Pugs, and of course everyone knows Beagles rock! My experience w/ Beagles has been limited to Snoopy & that movie, "cats and dogs", but since I think ALL doggies are magnifical- I know you'll have a long life of joy together.

Absolutely adorable!! I think Coco has the best of both breeds. I had never been a pug fan until I saw the movie "Otis & Milo" with my kids when they were small. Otis won me over. And Beagles are sooooo cute & sweet, I did have a beagle, Roary, for 15.5 yrs. She was the cutest puppy I had ever seen & she was completely devoted to me.

Coco-nut is delicious!!! We also have a puggle and she looked just like Coco when she was a pup. She had the cherry eye too, and the procedure was so easy and her little eye is perfect now :-)
What a great companion! My Peanut (half beagle, half corgi) isn't content to "ride" along like that. She's too restless, wanting to run and sniff. Coco looks relaxed and like she's enjoyed her "sedan" chair all her life. Biscuits galore.

Beagles are amazing dogs to have and are soo very gentle. Pugs are also gentle, but to tell you the truth
i have never really been that fond of pugs, because of the wrinkles which is not really fair because i have a frenchie and they have a decent amount of wrinkles aswell

ARGGH! Fav pic was not working took 4 trys! Coco is precious and good thing she left Vegas -better weather in Calif. I am fostering a beagle right now and she is a character too. She slobbers all over my pink slippers -it is their favorite color. I keep her in a crate at night but when I am home she thinks my bed is hers. I love puggles as they are just as cute as a button. Let us know if her eye (red) is ok. The one I foster has red rim but normal? 11 biscuits!!
