I got Daisy from a rescue in Ireland. Her mum and litter mates were found abandoned in the mountains. Daisy's mum was a golden retriever mix. We don't know what her father was but think there may be a bit of hound in her. I just fell in love with her. She is a little rip but gets away with everything! We have had a lot of laughs with her and are looking forward to seeing what she looks like when she is older. The staff at the rescue think she may have a bit of giant breed in her due to her massive paws. It's so nice to have a puppy in the house again!
Oooh, she DOES look like a Bernese mix, or Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, maybe. So pretty! I love her unique looks. :)
Awwwwwwwwww Daisy u are sooooooooo sweet. What a baby - I just want to cuddle u all up sweetheart. Have a long, happy and healthy life and here's lots of biscuits and hugs for u.
haha check out her horns, looks like she is mixed with a bernese mountain dog, she'll b huge and so cuddly
she is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo adorable! I think shes got Bernese Mountain dog in her. I'm really sure she does. Bernese Mountain dogs look just like her
Phew! Being a puppy is tiring! So much sleep, so little time. Anyway, enjoy Daisy May to the fullest before it's too late! She might go away soon, like my golden retriever, Moki. But let's not start a pity party. Daisy May, you're a beautiful dog and will always stay that way.
She could be so many things. She does look a bit like a Bernese Mtn. Dog, and she almost looks like a tri-color Border Collie in the photo below the one I chose. While her breed may be uncertain, it's easy to see he is composed of 100% pure cuteness. Her collar just adds to the adorable factor. It's almost as cute as she is.
what a BEAUTY! and there's a regal air about her too!! mixed-breeds are my FAV cos each of them is an original! lotsa lotsa lotsa biscuits n hugs for Daisy!!!
What a beautiful face, she looks like she has a funny personality! So glad you found each other. Hey, where did you get that collar? I love it.
Definitely a good dose of Bernese. I was surprised to read she was a mix. Colouration, goofiness, etc. Doesn't matter: she's gorgeous, whatever she is. Enjoy! 11,000 biscuits and undercollar scratchies!
Daisy May, what a beautiful young lady you are. I just love all your pictures, however, this one is my fav, you have such an intensive look on your face. You are so lucky, first to be Irish, and second, to have such a good mommy and daddy, millions of cookies for you and hugs and kiss's too.
Daisy May with the daisy collar you are very charming! Beautiful face full of love. Lots of treats and belly rubs!
Daisy May is absolutely beautiful! She is the best breed 'who Knows breed" aka WKB! She is going to be a big girl when she grows into those paws! Many Many years of happiness together!
Daisy May is unbelievably cute. I've always loved a mixed breed. Actually prefer them. That comes from volunteering in an animal shelter. One of my projects for our Humane Society in Vero Beach, FL is to work on our quarterly newsletter, the Humane Times. We try to keep a file of alluring pictures from which to select a picture from time to time. Daisy May would be a wonderful addition if you would give us permission to ever use her photo. If yes, would you let me know? Wishing you and Daisy May the best. Cornelia
Run, Daisy, run puppy! You are an absolute traffic stopper! 11 biscuits is way underestimated here! Tons of kisses for a long and happy lifetime!
What's not to love? She's beautiful! Sure good to hear so many people are going to rescue centers for their pets.
Daisy May is one beautiful girl...such intelligent eyes. They're right--she's going to be a *big* girl judging by her paws.
That's right Daisy, get lots of sleep.. you need all that energy to get BIG BIG BIG! What a wonderful puppy! Biscuits and bellyrubs from Pam in Toronto.
what a beautiful big little girl she is! I'd love to see pictures of her as she grows up. I too think Bernese seeing her coloring and build. Love the big white "socks" on her front feet and the focused intent gaze. Thank you for adopting her!
Daisy is ABSOLUTELY gorgeous! It doesn't matter what mix she may be because one can tell that she has exceptional, redeeming qualities. Thanks for sharing her with all of us, and be sure to give her lots of kisses, belly rubs, butt scratches, etc. Greetings from Michigan!
Daisy May you are so stinkin' cute I can't even stand it! She looks like she might have a little sheltie or border collie in her too! Can't wait to see her all grown up :)
Daisy is SOOOO Burmese Mountain....I love them - how can you not? :^) Check out pics and compare to your sweet Daisy at http://burmesemountaindog .info Congrats on getting "a good one." Kristen 0;
Wow, you are soooo cute and look like an aussie to me! Be a good girl and have a great life with your rescuers, Daisy, love from California..
Daisy Mae is so cute! She sure does have big paws. I hope you have many happy and healthy years together! Also, kudos for rescuing her. As a member of theASPCA I always think of adoption as your first option. Lots of love and bicuits to you Daisy Mae!
Daisy May is just a beautiful girl! I do think she will be a big girl though!! Hope you enjoy every moment together.
OMG, what a beautiful baby!! SHe looks to me like she could have Border Collie, Australian Shepherd or Berenese Mountain Dog in her. Large feet from the last 2 as Border Collies don't have really large feet. She looks like my baby, which makes her especially beautiful! Lots of hugs, kisses and biscuits! xxx
First of all, so many great pictures. Second, one of the most beautiful dogs i have seen on here yet. There is something so intelligent about her. She is one special and precious pup. She made my morning for sure and I am in love!!!! God bless you for many years to come.
First I thought - So Beautiful Then - what a great collar! Then - Definately some Bernese. And naturally: I want to play with her!!!!!
forgot to add she is definetly part Bernese mtn god. Google that breed and you will see what we mean. She looks just like them. Again, she is just gorgeous.
So cute! Definatly has some Bernese in there, especially with those paws! Our girl Lilly had those size paws and shes a golden/newfoundland mix. She's only grown to small golden size but still has those paws at 4yrs old. ^-^ You've got one gorgeous gal on your hands. Congrats!
Yep, I concur with the rest....She's definately got some Bernese Mountain dog in her. What a beautiful mix! Good luck, She's a beauty!
What a doll!!! I'm not too familiar, myself, with the Bernese but she sure looks like she has border collie in her too. Whatever! she is wonderful. Please send "grownup" pictures later.
It's clear that Daisy May is an Audi!! Adorable, Unique, Devoted, and Intelligent! And to think she's just going to get better and better! Excellent pup!
What a beautiful little girl! How wonderful that she was rescued! Belly rubs galore, and a billion bikkies!!
She is absolutely a Precious Princess! And LUV the collar. Hard to pick one (1) pic from the line-up. Also, good on you for bringing her home.
http://www.dailypuppy.com/puppies/B ecky-the-Border-Collie_2008-04-14 That's why I said she looked like a tri-colored Border Collie in that photo. Her head is more triangular than most Bernese's, she's not as thick bodied, her ears are further forward and slightly pricked, and she has freckles, for a start, but in this photo and another in her gallery she looks as though she's exhibiting very stereotypical breed-specific collie behavior--intense gaze, slightly crossed legs, lowered stance. In other words, she's giving something the herding eye. Also, it's Ireland, so the chances of her being part Collie are comparatively higher.
I THINK DAISY MAY IS SOOOOO CUTE! SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE HAS A LOT OF ENERGY! I BET SHE KEEPS YOU ON YOUR TOES!!
How appropriate her collar is in relationship to her name!! I had a dog growing up that looked identical to Daisy May. He was my best friend on a farm that was way out in the country. The brown eyebrows are so comical. Thanks for sharing her, and bringing back sweet memories for me!!
Flaps are up! Ready for lift-off! What a doll! I think her mix is a perfect ratio of love/mischief/beauty. Hugs and belly-rubs from me, plus lots of paw-kisses.
Oh my! What a beautifully marked dog. Daisy reminds me of a Border Collie I had. Whatever her ancestry, Daisy is one gorgeous girl. And in this picture, one mellow doggy.
Daisy is almost certainly part Berner!!! That's Bernese Mountain Dog! You'll love her, Berners are the most wonderful pets; I've had them my whole life. Enjoy!
thanks for all your nice comments! with Daisy around life is never dull!! and I'm continually slipperless as she steals them! But she's worth it!
Daisy May is just too cute! I love her! Give her tons and tons of hugs and pats for me! (Boy I'd love to wrestle and snuggle with that little angel!!!)
Miss Daisy, You are a fine looking young lady. I love your big paws and you are a sweetheart. Thank your Mum for getting you from rescue and giving you a nice home. You two are lucky to have each other. Hugs to all from Elizabeth and Miss Katie =O) (I am a Dane)USA Also may be a bit of Rottie around her eyes. Just a guess??? She is a LOVE;)
Such a beauty she is! I love the themed collar, so perfect for her, She does look like she'll outgrow it though, doesn't she? Certainly looks like she has some mountain dog in her, and I'm sure you'll love every inch of her. Many happy adventures await.
What a beauty! Daisy looks like she will be a wonderful addition to your family. Much love and biscuits!
Awwww! What an angel. You have yourself a beautiful rescue. Thank you for giving Daisy May her forever home. 11+ biscuits for this cutie
Daisy May is soooo cute. I love the tongue sticking out. I love the little brown dots over her eyes. I have Rottie mixes and they have the same thing. Lots of Belly rubs and biscuits for you and Daisy May!!
this one says "hmmm..yup, thought so...little ants do taste like chicken!" lol she is a pretty girl I must say, whatever her background, she is lovely.
Ooooooooo Daisy, who could not have wanted you and your mummy and little mates? Who could dump doggies in the mountains? Cruel people - they deserve a harsh punishment. ANYWAY...back to YOU, gorgeous girl...you are stunning and special. You look like you have some Bermese Mt. Dog in you or possibly St. Bernard!
"Hmm, what does this grass taste like? " Daisy is just amazingly beautiful! I will jump in with all those who say she looks like she might have Bernese in her. I love how her collar has little flowers on it, to match her name! She is adorable!
Personally Daisy May what your mixed with is unimportant, because no matter what it is you are definitely 100% beautiful, not to mention totally adorable.
Daisy looks all tuckered out here in this pic...she has very pretty markings. I am sure she will be a very beautiful adult furbabie...God bless you for rescuing her.
Oooooooooh. Surely one of the cutest puppies ever! I think you're right about the hound. When I saw the first picture from afar, I thought today's puppy was a beagle, until I got closer and saw the fuzzy ears! I was sure she was part beagle until I scrolled down and saw those PAWS! And she sure sounds like a hound, personality-wise! Maybe dad was part foxhound or harrier. But this is all details... she is FA-BU-LOUS!!!!!
What a magnificient puppy! How could anyone abandan anything so precious?!! God bless your angel with a long, happy, healthy life filled with love and fun. A million biscuits and tummy rubs for the cutie pie. And bless you for adopting her! XOXOXO
I can't see this pic without hearing Underdog sing: "HERE I COME TO SAVE THE DAY!" (Sorry, vintage American TV reference!) Dais y May is beautiful. Hope you and she have a long and healthy life together.
Yeah!!!for you for rescuing. She'll always be a lap dog no matter how big she gets. Cheers from Wyoming
Daisy May's cute little tongue got me with this picture. She's a cutie little Irish darling for sure. Thanks for rescuing her, you are angels
i love it!she's so cute!when i get my corgi,if it's a girl her name is going to be Daisy May!i fell in love with the name a few days ago!biscuits for you cutie!
Daisy May is just adorable! I love her markings & her expressions & the fact that she was a rescue is proof that the rescued mixed breed can be just as cute, or even more than some pedigreed pups! It's fun to speculate about her ancestry; here in the USA you can find out if you really want to. It's not too exprensive, & only involves swabbing the inside of her mouth. I thought about doing it for my mixed breed rescue Indy, but decided against it b/c it doesn't really matter--I'd love him just the same anyway, as I'm sure you do w/Daisy! Billions of biscuits for this beauty & lots of love & wishes for a long healthy life from us here in the SF Bay Area, Calif.,USA.
Those legs attached to the massive paws look like those of a Bernese Mountain Dog, as do her lovely markings. She might be a little slighter than a Bernese, but she does look like she will be a sturdy girl. What a beauty! Such a dear, focused little face!
