Diesel the Bullmastiff
Diesel's mom says: "Diesel" is a nine week old Bull mastiff. He is eight and nine weeks old in the photos. He was born in Nebraska, but now happily resides in Colorado. He was a Christmas gift from my husband, who has claimed Diesel as his very own. So much for MY Christmas gift! We are more than thrilled with this beautiful puppy. He is very intelligent and stubborn. Playful, yet lazy. For our family, he's absolutely perfect!!!!!

We had a mastiff in the neighborhood that was a favorite with everyone. Unfortunately, he was not treated as well as yours and had to live outside and ultimately was given away when his owners got a swimming pool. I know your baby will fare SO much better. He is one handsome dude!
It was hard to pick a favorite today. All the shots were just so adorable! I'm not a big fan of big dogs but this guy just absolutely melted my heart. 11 biscuits!!

What gorgeous wrinkles. On him they look fabulous!! Large paws are a sign of intelligence or so my mom told me when I was a kid with big feet!
Oh to sleep as he does, he looks so blissful. Big thump on the rump and lots of wrinkly snuggles.
It is so sweet to see him in a small corner of the couch, when it will seem like in an instant he will be as BIG as the couch! He's s beaut!

I haven't seen a "Blond" bull Mastiff before though... my bull mastiff is red red red with a beautiful black mask... your Diesel is just precious... and you say he is playful but lazy? heh heh ... just wait a few months and that laziness will only come when its time to sleep... Tonks is CONSTANTLY on the go... and man can she dig a hole!!! they are notorious diggers.... have fun with that beautiful boy... and give him lots of hugs, belly rubs and and ear scratches... they love that!!!
I've changed my favorite picture 3 times - it's impossible to choose! I comment on cute little dogs sometimes, but big dogs have my whole heart. It's great that Diesel has such a loving family. Give him extra hugs from us. A million biscuits!!
Diesel looks like he could use a playmate, perhaps a female litter mate? (Then you both can have a puppy) Diesel is a handsome little guy, who looks like he will be a handsome BIG guy very soon. All the best.
Diesel is one handsome boy. I hope we get to see him and all of the other puppies again when they are all grown up. I didn't realize that a Bull Mastiff would come in such a pale blonde color. I love it and him.

We have a Bullmastiff X and we just LOVE him - they really are one of the nicest breeds character wise I think. Many happy years with your boy.

because I can see the pose of a real, grown up dog, while Diesel still looks likes a puppy! So, it's kind of like he's an old dog in a puppy's body. Sorry if that was offensive, but I can see the big boy pose! It's a famous one with my dogs..

He is soo precious! I can see where he would be a lazy little fella, but also hyper when it comes to going outside, right? Because Diesel looks like he's enjoying himself in the snow! To top of that snow pic., he's mid-step, so it looks fantasticly amazingly adorable!
I also enjoyed the one where Diesel is snuggling up, his pupp tummy showing, wrapped in what seems like a blankie. How cute! He's a tired little boy too... such a cutie!
And, I found it fit to say that it looks like you're doing splendid with your dog. Because Diesel doesn't look fat nor skinny, he looks just the right size and he looks very fit, and muscular, and you know...

Very Handsome indeed! I went for this sleeping puppy pic cos he looks so cuddlesome but all the photos were great and the subject very photogenic. I must confess I enjoy reading all the comments even and sometimes especially the longer ones. How can you really object to something that is obviously heartfelt?
The smell of Diesel normally makes me feel a bit sick...this Diesel smells of puppy breath...sweet! What a lil' baby!

My brother's dog, Barney was 120 lbs of pure baby. He was one of the most sensitive dogs I have ever known. Very loving, very gentle. He would sleep in the hallway with his legs propped up on the wall. They had him before they had kids, and when their oldest son was born, Barney would lie on the floor and allow the baby to crawl all over him and to poke him in very private areas! He loved attention and never quite figured out he wasn't a lap dog.
I miss Barney.

I remember Barney, too (mentioned in an earlier post) and had never known a dog to have such a variety of facial expressions. I f he was scolded for something, he would lie down in the hall, ears down, with the most woe-begone look you could ever imagine. He was dearly loved, as I know you will dearly love Diesel. He is a handsome, lucky dog to have owners who so thoroughly dote on him. Congratulations on having him as part of your family.

To Diesel -- you couldn't be more handsome if you tried, and I hope your mom and dad post a pic of you when you grow into those feet! I've only known one bull mastiff, and he was an angel and great with kids, even the baby who decided to get a good grip on a portion of Buff's anatomy that he shouldn't have ... and pulled. Buff just protested very quietly until Mom noticed and detached the baby, and told him what a very VERY good boy he was .... Here's hoping nothing like that happens to you, and you keep on playing and being lazy for many years to come!

Deisel looks very much like my boxer, Jinks, who I grew up with maaaaannnyyyy years ago. There is just something about breeds in the Mastiff/Boxer/Bulldog family that make them so endearing. This is my first post to this page. Diesel is soooo darling, I just had to comment on him. He has one of the sweetest faces ever--and I bet he still has "puppy breath". Priceless.
Diesel is adorable! Seeing him is bittersweet because he reminds me of my Bullmastiff Harley that we lost at age 3 1/2 to bone cancer. They are the best dogs in the world. Very smart and sweet and wonderful with kids. I wish you many, many happy years with your beautiful puppy!!!
