Dixie the Dachshund
Dixie is a miniature dachshund. She is one small bundle of joy. However, she often forgets that she is only a little dog because she secretly thinks that she is much larger. She is often found running around chasing after anything that moves and doing what dachshunds do best, digging and hiding stuff. When she is not busy playing, she can be found hiding under some piece of furniture in her den. Dixie's favorite things in the world are belly rubs and will take them from anyone who is willing to lend a hand. She also will never turn down a comfy lap to curl up on and have a sleep. She loves meeting new dogs and new people and still doesn't understand why not everyone is the world is going to come over to see her. She absolutely loves to be the center of attention, and loves when all the kids in the neighborhood come over to play. She always has to be near people and will follow us all around the house. She certainly brings us lots of joy and entertainment.
I can see why DIXIE is a bundle of joy. She is very cute,pretty, sweet and adorable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love her name(I grew up in Alabama} so I assume she is a southern belle! I hope her life will be very long and super happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dixie sounds like a typical Daschund, because she loves digging, belly rubs and people. Heaps of belly rubs from another Daschund parent. I'm sure she will give you heaps & heaps of pleasure. XXXXOO OOOOXXXXXXX

Well, Dixie, those sweet, little eyes have successfully caused me to melt and run down into my shoes. If you were my dog, I would find it so very difficult to even scold you a little bit, especially if you looked at me as you are in this particular picture. Goodness...and you're such a pretty puppy, to boot! On the other hand, Dixie (my daughter Lori has a very spoiled kitty named Dixie), I know a little black dog at my house who has eyes like that and uses them, too, to get what he wants, so I strongly suspect you just night do the same, my dear. I mean, it works for Harvick, so why not for you, too, right? :o) Sounds to me like you're a first class trip of a little dog with a big personality, for sure. Your loved ones are, indeed, blessed to have you in their lives, and this includes the whole neighborhood where you live. I too have a dachshund named Dixie, and let me tell you, watch out for those facial expressions. They'll melt you heart and your resolve. Oh and don't let her under the blankets. They tend to become "bed hoggs". Keep her safe and give her lots of kisses.
