Gus's mom says: Gus is a very lively and energetic little fellow with some extremely sharp teeth. Sometimes I call him "Jaws." He loves to frolic and play around in the yard, chewing on sticks and chasing his older brother, Milo, a four-year-old mini dachshund. Gus is a bit clumsy. He has not quite mastered the art of running/walking on wood floors and very often slips and slides all around the house. It's quite amusing actually.
What a cutie pie! I am not generally a Dachsie fan, but Homer is the cutest by far!!! Watch out for those slippy floors and his back and hip health. Maybe you could get a couple of runners until he gets his feets organized. :o)
He is so adorable! Sometimes I wonder what it would be like if doggies knew how beautiful they were...I mean, in a society where looks are everything, dogs manage to be breathtaking (for their species ;D) without pride.
Okay, tangent over. I love Gus! (And his wonderfully cute name!)

Gus, your mommy is a lucky girl to have such a sweetie! I have 2 doxies that used to be like you. Auggie is red just like you and Max is a double dapple ( blotched and speckled all over his cute little self). They were little and sweet like you one time, but now, they are the sweetest, ornery-est, little stinkers on the earth. And I wouldn't want them any other way. Be careful of the slipperies and only chew good things.

Gus looks so precious in his pictures. He has such a sweet face, & those eyes. I have a friend who has a Doxie, who is a lot older & not in such good health. When I look at Gus, I can see my friend's dog, the way she was when she was a puppy. Hope you have Gus for a long time, & that he stays nice & healthy. Give him lots of attention & also lots of hugs & kisses.

Gus is perfection wrapped up in the cutest darn package I've ever seen! We used to have a red dapple doxie that was stolen from our family :( and Gus reminds me, of course, of our "Dottie".
