Hana the Golden Retriever Mix
My name is Hana. My mommy and daddy saved me and named me after a pretty word in Japanese that means "flower." Many people try to call me Hannah, but I am actually "Hah-nuh." My favorite thing to do is drive my mom and dad crazy chasing the cats and playing with my squeaky toys and rope. When I get a little bit older I am going learn how to go hiking and backpacking with my parents! I am also going learn to be a good swimmer and take agility classes too. I am very happy my mommy and daddy saved me and I now have a happy home!
Ahweeweeeweeeweeeeeeeeeeee! She soooooooo cuuuuuuuuuttttttteeeee! Ahwoooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! I want to huggle her and snuggle her forever and ever! Awaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Well, "Hana" apparently now has an alternate meaning, i.e., "adorable," as you're definitely the dictionary illustration of that, little girl!!! Billions of biscuits and every-so-many scritches for you!!! (And send a couple to the cats, but be careful they don't "return the favor" on your nose!)

Hana I am so glad you have been saved. You have beautiful, almond-shaped eyes and such a soft, gently colored coat. Now you can save everybody around you with your smiles, love and frolicking that I know is irresistable. Be nice to those kitty-cats. Happy days little one.

Aw, is nap time over already? Hana you are a beautiful little girl and I'm sure you bring much happiness to mommy and daddy, they will continue to be blessed for making you part of the family. Enjoy agility, but stay on the low/ground level exercises only so you don't get an injury 'cause your skeleton is not fully formed until you are 18 months.

My little lab mixes have the same toy, they love the crinkly noise. We also have some of the same goals, maybe we will meet you on the trail one day!

Congratulations on your new puppy. It's great that people like you and your spouse have opened your hearts and your home to save these little innocent creatures. I too have don the same and now have 3 doggies and 4 cats. They are so much fun and I can tell that you are really going to enjoy Hana. She is beautiful and looks like a ton of fun. OMG!!! I have a lab named Hana!!! I just love this name . . . that's so funny that you mention how everyone wants to call her Hannah . . . . my girl is 3 and I still have to correct people about her name! My husband and I took our honeymoon in Maui where we drove The Road To Hana . . . we feel in love with the little city and when we came home and got our first dog that's what we named her! Your girl has a great name . . and she is beautiful. Much love and happiness!

I know it doesn't really matter, but does anyone else think Hana must have some Brittney Spaniel in her? All those freckles remind me of my pup when I was a kid. Very cute. "Ahhhh...th is grass feels so goooood."
