Despite what I thought when I brought her home, Jane's got more attitude, energy and confidence than any puppy I've ever met! She loves to play, especially with big dogs, and in her first month at home has learned to swim in pools, ponds, lakes and the ocean. She's not a huge fan of the sun and heat -- a very prissy little girl. She is extremely vocal and dramatic. She talks, whines, growls, groans, and barks all the time, even if she's by herself.
OMG - what a gorgeous baby you are Jane. I bet you are into all the mischief known to man. Millions of biscuits and a great big huggle sweetheart.
OMG...you just gotta love a Lab!!!!!!!!!! Love the tongue action there. I wish you many years of health, happiness, swims, biscuits and bellyrubs!
she sounds to me like she has a great deal to say! one of my dogs talks to herself. sometimes, that's how I'd describe it! Jane is so lovely. A beautiful, elegant young lady!
Labs are the best - and yours is a cutie! You just have to love them, they make sure of it. I have two black lab girls and I spoil them rotten. Enjoy your time with your baby. What a sweetheart. I LOVE LABS!
she has such a cute face!!!! i have a choclate lab who is just a month over 2 years old now. he is so wonderfull!!! we love him so much. labs are a great breed & i know your gonna love having one. enjoy your wonderfull little puppy!!
Labs are almost the best dogs a person could ever have. Jane's just about the prettiest I've ever seen. You can tell she wants to go in the water but is waiting for the Okay. Enjoy.
I'm sorry, but there seems to be very little prissy about this youngster. She's tomboy all the way...and gorgeous to boot!
Oh my what a picture this is. She is too cute for words!! Who could say no to this face! Ihope you have many happy years together.
ACCK! SAND ON MY TONGUE! She is a doll. I have a vocal one year old gollie (golden/collie mix) and it can be entertaining and it can be a pain, too. My Brittany was much more creative with his vocal talents like your Jane...the gollie just barks for the sheer joy of hearing his own voice. I hope he grows out of it.
Omigosh! Academy Award for Jane playing "sad wet dog!". What a cutie! Biscuits and bellyrubs from Pam in Toronto.
A big day at the beach is enough to tire anyone out! Have tons of fun and adventures with your family. Lots of belly rubs and biscuits going out to you today from HOT Delaware!
Hello. I'm not usually a fan of large dogs, but must say that Jane is an exception - realy beautiful. Since she is quite vocal, you may be able to teach her a few words. My Silky Terrier was the same when he was a pup and has learned to say "I love you Mama" and "outside." It is a real hoot. Have many great years with your Jane and take good care. Beverly
"GGRRRRR!!!!! You stop coming back up here at me!!" She is adorable. I can see the attitude in her stance, and her eyes. Hope she has many happy days at the beach with her human family! Belly rubs, hugs, kisses, and a million biscuits from Mid-Florida.
I love prissy!!! I think there is nothing wrong with expression......I mean these are our children and we want them to be happy! Jane....you go girl!!! You are adorable!!!
What a sweet girl! If the other folks here are right, please don't hurt her with anything that rubs her little face raw.
Ah, there is very little in life that's as joyful as a labrador on the beach. Seeing their ears flap in the breeze as they tear into the water after a stick! Enjoy your beautiful, spirited baby for many years to come!
Oh JANE you are BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Too CUTE, Too ADORABLE!!!!! Many kisses, hugs and biscuits to you PRECIOUS Jane!!! xoxoxo
Jane will you come and swim in my ponds? You are such a beautiful girl. May you and your family have a wonderful ling life. Hugs and many kisses!!!!
Jane is adorable. She almost looks as though she has bubble gum in her mouth here. What a cutie. May you have many happy years to love each other.
My second grand-daughter... and already, pensive and reflecting on all around her. If grandkids can be like this, give me more! So very proud.
What a cute little beach baby. I love the way labs are so chatty. Jane you are a beautiful little gal!!!
Jane you are a very beautiful pup. Whew!!! that wave nearly got me this time. But I like the water anyway.
aaaw how sweet. I have never seen or heard a puppy that talks to her self. She has such a sweet face. 11 biskits 4 you!
Jane, YOU are MY KIND OF PUPPY_GIRL. We girls must stick together and be heard. I can just see you all by yourself having a really brilliant discussion about some earth-shattering event. We get things done, now don't we. Go for it, Jane. You are a special sweetheart and I love your little pink tongue. Hugs from Elizabeth and Miss Katie =O)
I'm a sucker for Labs. What a beauty! My Lab "Yellow Dog" is now 90lbs but still acts like a baby. Have fun it only gets better
It was hard to pick a favorite picture, because Jane is so cute! She has an adorable face, and I love her flying ears in this pic!
Ah, that's what us women want, another woman with attitude! You go, Jane!! Many happy years with this sweet and adorable pup!
Jane is so precious! I think our Obi would love to meet her - he likes the water too! Kiss her ears for me!
"Let's play some more in the water!" What an adorable puppy! Have a great time with your playful little pup! :)
What a funny girl!! Labs (and lab mixes) make the best dogs! They are so sweet and well-behaved and cute! Always spoil her and enjoy many special years together.
I usually love how fuzzy and fluffy baby labs look...but this little girl looks adorable sopping wet, too!
muzzle seems to be to tight if it has left a mark on her nose, perhaps good dog training would be much better. Labs are not mean animals, they just need a lot of work for a long time. Enjoy her.
I love this pic. She looks like she's saying, " Now what do you want me to do?" Lots of hugs and belly rubs for Jane!!!
OMG What a cutie, love the tongue sticky out. One of my Shepherds Miles is a very vocal one. Sometimes it is so funny. Lots of hugs and Bones for Jane
I have an older Golden Lab. She 9 years old and still is so cute and loving this picture looks like Sandie when she was a puppy. Very adorable.
In 1971, when I was a very young woman, a friend brought me a small dog from the local shelter. He said the dog looked like he should belong to me. I had never, ever had close contact of any kind with a dog. The dog, "Ernie", was small, a terrier cross I know now, and I spoke to him and treated him like a little child who needed to spend a lot of time outside. What did I know?! A neighbour suggested obedience school so Ernie and I enroled. He was, like Jane, a talker but I thought it was perfectly normal as I had no point of reference. I probably learned more from obedience school than he did. I could not have been more proud of his accomplishments at school!! Upon graduation, the trainer presented me with our certificate and said "Why don't you save your pennies, Dear, and buy a real dog (i.e. a purebred ... not a pound mutt) who doesn't talk back." I could have gladly decked her!! Do I love doggies who talk??!! You bet your buns I do!! .... and I'm especially fond of the ones who have to have the last word! Bless 'em all ... keep talkin', Janie!! Ontario, Canada
OhMyGoash, don't you just love the way puppies sit!!! She looks all tuckered out after a day at the beach, as a happy puppy should. Labs are great friends and loyal companions and Jane is a beauty. One of my shelties, Benny is very vocal. I keep telling him to speak english, not puppy, but he's teaching me a new language. Blessing to you and your little girl.
Jane you are the sweetest. Love the labs. Thay make Great pets. Enjoy your baby and have many happy years together. Many swims and many biscuits

The first picture is my favorite! Jane is such a cutie! I hope her personality comes out more and more as she gets older :)
This is by far the cutest yello lab pup I've seen. She is adorable. I love the pic with her tongue sticking out...'ya, unhuh, i'ma havin fun 'raspberry' and i'ma not goin home!'... too cute. Thanks for sharing.
I love this dog the most! Her precious face is so cute, but looks a little sad. I hope not. Her owner is so lucky to have her. She is straight from heaven. Take good care of this little angel!
"Now, how do I get this icky sand off my tongue?" Jane's adorable -- of course, she wants to stay out of the sun -- look how "fair" she is!! ;-)
awww he is so cute!!!!
