Laverne's parents say: When a Japanese champion met a Canadian champion, a little purebred Boston terrier named Laverne is born to the world. A tiny, dark brindle fireball of inquisitive energy, Laverne is quickly adapting to life among two cats who can't firgure her out and two parents who love her more than can be written here. As with most pups, Laverne loves to chew. Lucky for us she only enjoys her toys (Pink Dog, Big Mean Kitty, and Big Toe) rather than our computer cables and shoes. She's learning lots and has mastered such commands as "tunnel," "jump," "down," "hop," "sit," "roll over," and "papers" (the all-important one to stop her from using the living room as her personal bathroom). She's only 12 weeks old and already she's taken charge of our apartment complex as everyone in the building knows and loves Laverne.

what a doll! having only known labs the last two years has brought three bostons into my home and OMG! what fun-loving, inquisitive, speedy, smart, adorable, sweet and loving dogs. never imagined a small dog would be part of our lives, but we absolutely love this breed. however, the jury is still out for the labbie in our house - the big ole 90 lb yellow 'man of the house' has become the boston's biggest toy. what joy they all bring to our home!
What a cutie pie. I love the one in the crate, her little eyes seem to say "I didn't do it, I tell ya I'm innocent!" Also love the sweetness in her face, she'll bring you years and years of joy.

I am a HUGE fan of Bostons. What a baby doll little Laverne is! I especially love the little chubble roll that comes down over her button nose. The tennis ball is bigger than her head but that doesn't seem to deter her - you go little lady! Enjoy her little snorts and snorggles. Enjoy her little ear nibbling and soulful eyes. Seriously, I've said this before, but I can't say it enough; Boston's are the best!! My Dudley was with me for 13 years. Laverne would have loved him and he would have loved her. This baby will be with you for a long time and will fill your life with love and laughter.

For the sake of orderliness, I will itemize my comment:
1. "Laverne"???? Good gravy!! Could that name BE any cuter?? No, it could not.
2. EAR CHOMP! Her ears are chompable, but the fact that she is also munching on lobes makes me giggle with delight. I would let her bite my ears any day of the week. It would be totally worth it to have this bite-sized poochlet this close to my face.
3. Wall-eyed MADNESS! I bet she can see you coming from any direction. She is on the lookout for other munchable ears, I am betting.
4. The tennis ball is the same size as her head. This is just too much. She is seriously a precious wonton. I am picturing her paddling around a plastic container of broth, with a few scallions bobbing around her. So tiny.
She is so cute! Terrier breeds are the best (I have a pitbull) I would love to get a boston, they are just absolutely adorable! i like how ferocious she tries to be... Laverne... what a great name!!! Enjoy your bundle of joy!

What a sweet face! My mama used Bitter Apple to keep me from chewing on electric cords and cables when I was a little puppy--it tastes awful! I learned to be good right away. It sounds like you have a happy happy home, too--I'm glad for you!
We have a Boston Terrier, Lucy, this puppy could be her twin sister...CUTE...LOVABLE...everyone should have a little Boston Terrier to cheer up each and everyday.

How sweet. I have a Boston that is almost identical to this one and she is 6. Born on 9/11 and is surely a little terrorist, name of Beany Baby. My other one is a rescue and is Tater Roux. They love us so much and of course we love them. They're so spoiled they stink or so says my husband.
I am a diabetic and Beany can tell when my glucose drops and will wake me and keep after me until I am up to get some food. Of course, she thinks I should share it.

When I was a little girl, way too many years ago, my parents had some friends who had a Boston, and it was the only one I have ever been close to! Unfortunately, they were an older couple and so their little one didn't much care for a kid! But every puppy I see on here makes me want to run out for a puppy of my own, but that would get me a one way ticket to divorce court as we already have four dogs! So no puppy for me, except on this site!

She is so cute! I'm 13 and when I was 4, our family got a cute boston terrier named Molly. She recently passed in the beginning of February (God rest her soul) and I just want to say how nice it is to look at Laverne and think of my old, sweet dog. Thanks for sharing! Long live Laverne!
Laverne's picture absolutely made my day. I came home to a BT as a newborn, and life is just not happy without one.. Congratulations to Laverne's parents, the world of lickielickie's and snerts and nibbles have just begun and there aren't words that can describe it.

Speaking of the ear picture, my Boston (Lucy) just bit my ear two nights ago. It wasn't as cute as your picture though, She actually pierced my ear.
