Lucy's mom says: Lucy is our first dog, and we couldn't have asked for a better one. You probably wouldn't know it by looking at her, but her mom is a husky. We're not sure what her dad was but our guess is maybe a Samoyed or a retriever. Lucy is a wonderful, funny, curious, spoiled puppy who, although she is getting quite big, enjoys being carried! She is also both smart and stubborn and doesn't like any restrictions placed on her. We put her in the mudroom with a baby gate blocking the entrance, and within five minutes she figured out how to climb over the gate. We put her in the fenced backyard, and she somehow slipped under the fence and went swimming in the neighbor's pool. Her favorite pastimes include playing tug of war, exploring, playing with her sisters, sleeping, and attempting to swim in her water dish. We love our Lucy!
OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!! I am totally in love!!!!!!!!! Lucy greatly resembles a Great Pyrenees too. In some of the photos she looks exactly like our two GP when they were puppies (but she could be a mix of any light colored dog like you mention). She is such a beautiful girl. You are so blessed.
What a beautiful, funny, creative, ingenious, mischievous, endearing, and smart sweetheart you have! Wishing you many happy years together...
I hope that crazy collection of kids know they can't dance all night. We've got to get some sleep :) The pup on the right of this photo looks like he wants to cut in. Sounds like Lucy found a fun-filled family. Enjoy it all!
Look's like Lucy is going to keep you busy for a couple of years! Adorable and so glad to see that she takes naps!
omg cuttiest puppy ever!!!!!!! a todall 11 biscets,or even more!!!! i never saw a puppy like this todally adorable!!!!!!!!! and how many pups do u hav??????? =)
How many puppies do y'all have!? And why aren't the fluffiest of the two daily puppies together?! Just kidding...but wait...not really, two puppies are better than one, ESPECIALLY if they are fluffy and goofy, and I didn't mention it, BUT, adorable!
He!He! You've got quite a handful there with the gorgeous Lucy. I think you're gonna need a bigger pool...
Darn - I can't figure how to add photos.. But the puppies playing pic:
"I'm going to eat your face!" "No! I'm going to eat your nose! I'm a big scary dog!"
Miss the play-days badly! Have fun with her, she's totally gorgeous, and growing more into her husky looks I see. : )
you can start to see more of her Husky genes shining through as she grows older - what a beautiful girl she is!! :D
What an adorable little ball of fluff!!! I love her mischevious personality...she will keep you on your toes that's for sure! Enjoy her, she looks like she's a lot of fun. Hugs and smooches to Lucy!!!
She sort of looks like a golden, or lab. Her coat is gorgeous, and the pictures are hilarious! She looks like she is a playful and funny puppy. The ears are priceless!
Enjoy your pup!
Loved the destroy the fence picture. I got two Brittany pups from the same litter (not a good idea BTW) and they plotted their escapes from day one. They hated the idea of Puppies in Prison. Your Lucy is a precious puffball. Best of luck with her.
hahahaha - from the sounds of it, Lucy definately has Husky in her!
Your description of Lucy reminds me of my first Siberian - I used to
call her Houdini Husky as nothing would contain her! But she was dearly loved! Enjoy Miss Lucy - I know you are - she is precious.
And huskies are smart and stubborn!
What a sweet bundle of mischief. You apparently don't have a dull moment with Lucy around. Hugs and kisses.
At the risk of repeating of what has already been said, but it just can't be said enough, SHE'S ADORABLE!!! Wishing you many, many years of happiness with your little family. Like so many has said, I love the ears!!!!, and those heart melting eyes.
What a precious ball of white fluff! I want to give her lots of hugs and kisses on that cute little nose. Lucy is going to make your life verrrrry interesting!
LOVE HER! She is absolutley beautiful! Until today I thought my dog Lucy was the most beautiful Lucy in the world, but it looks like we might share the spotlight! I'm ok with that! Check out Lucy on the Daily Puppy Grown Up's retriever dog links http://dailypuppy.co m/index...
Sorry - but DOGGONE CUTE!!
Great pics, too! (I, like someone else, haven't figgered out how to attach a pic...)
I'm so jealous right now! Lucy's so fluffy and playful, and I think she'll be a gorgeous dog when she grows up... I just hope she keeps those adorable floppy ears! Millions of biscuits!
Very lively, pretty baby. I love the picture of Lucy and friends dancing, clowning around. The neighbor's pool, eh? Oh well...;)
I couldn't vote for the pic because the little "hearts" to choose the photo did not show up today on my computer, and haven't been so I thought they were discontinued. Anyone else? have this problem?
Elizabeth & Miss Katie =O)
Yay! For the first time I could choose my fave picture. :-) I LOVE the one ear 1/2 up, one ear floppy thing going on. So cute, I want to eat her! P.S. I am so glad to have found a place where there are lots of "crazy dog people" like me! :-)
What an adorable pup! Love the picture where she's fighting with her siblings - did she pick the fight?
How many pups do you have??!?
VERY SWEET DOG...
Oh, I just figured out how to put my favorite pictures on here, but a lot of people are having trouble... WE NEED CLEARER INSTRUCTIONS... PLEASE!
Sounds like Lucy doesn't like to be alone. Hope that doesn't become a problem down the road. She is BEE-U TI-FULL, just, BEE-U-TI-FULL! you must get a picture of her trying to swim in her water bowl, I can imagine it's adorable. Many years of happiness together.
OK, I registered just to comment on Lucy, and I've probably been visiting this page for six months.
What an absolute sweetheart. My guess is a Golden Retriever for Dad. Kisses and belly rubs for Lucy.
P.S. mountainfamily - I just clicked the "page fav" heart icon under the pic to get it to show up in my comment.
Oh, my what a sweet fluff! I adore white, fluffy puppies. Whoever her Dad was, they made a wonderful specimen of the canine world. Love, love her.
Lucy is adorable! Be careful about her swimming unattended in the neighbors pool, that could be dangerous! She definatley looks like she has some lab in her. Have fun with your puppy, they grow up soooo fast!
So Adorable!! I had 3 Samoyeds growing up and can see some of the traits in Lucy. (The eyelids/lashes & "Samoyed Smile")
Such a Cutie!
Love them all, the fence photo is great - "Don't Fence Me In!"........and those poor little innocent eyes!! "it wasn't ME mom".....have fun
Hi everyone this is Lucy's mommy! Lucy and I are both so excited by all your compliments and feel very loved! :o) I saw that a few people asked about how many puppies we have... We only have one - Lucy. My two brothers got two of Lucy's sisters though, so we bring Lucy over there to play sometimes. (Lucy's sisters are in the "dancing" picture... Daisy is dancing with Lucy, and Bow is waiting to cut in!) Can you believe they're sisters?! They look so different!!
Oh, and to the person with the "grown up" Lucy, she's adorable as well!!! :o)
Wow! What an adorable girl! I am thinking with her love of the water, maybe some Golden? Don't know how the huskies or others feel about water, but a friend in Florida has a Golden and she absolutely loves the water. You most certainly have your hands full, and unfortunately there will come the time, when you will have to sit down and explaine to your little girl, that Momma just can't carry her anymore. I know, as I have two little sisters that are nearly 3 and weigh in at 38 and 44 pounds and they still think there is room on my lap for them both at the same time! She is most precious and beautiful beyond words. Enjoy her puppyhood. I am glad that her siblings are in the family and that she can stay connected with them. Its that way in our family, I have two sisters, my brother has their brother and my oldest son and his family have the other sister and My Mom has the Mother dog. Its wonderful. Enjoy each other for a long long time.
That is one sweet baby! She's so FLUUUUFFFFFY!!! I have to go now to buy stock in lint rollers. Enjoy your new sweetiepie!
I love, love, love Lucy. She is so cute & adorable. I loved all the pictures of her. They certainly show off her personality. She truly is a winner!!!!!! Take good care of her, & keep enjoying every minute with her.
It was hard to choose a favorite pic-- however, I just love to see doggie siblings playing together-- so this is definately the right picture--:P Lucy is a love-- just beautiful-- and very definately husky traits (I have a husky mix- very 'up front' personality- but I love her dearly and she is as sweet as candy) I'm glad Lucy is near her sisters-- it is so great when dogs can play with their kin-- all of the dogs are just gorgeous! Not sure what the dad was-- I thought a golden (with the water-- but then there is Bow with the dark coloring of a shepard maybe??? whatever-- they are all beautiful :?
She is very adorable and loveable. However, the Houdini routine and allowing her to be the boss will not go over well when she is an adult. I have a dog who was exactly like that, and I allowed it. When he was reaching 80 pounds it wasn't so adorable and other people caused us problems. He's 125 pounds and listens to me today. We worked with a positive trainer and built up a great foundation to work and play together. It's really important to be the leader with your puppy now, and all her life she will look to you for her happy love and permission.
Lucy is a study in cuteness. Simply unbelievably cute! I wish you and all your canine companions many years of joy!
What a beautiful baby! Best wishes to you for a loooong, happy life together, and hugs and kisses to little Lucy!
Lucy had me at hello... Such a cutie patootie pie... I'm in love. A zillion biscuits for this curious, darling, girl:)
OMG! She is so adrable. I would guess that she is a husky / golden Retriever mix. But that is just my guess.
Lovely pictures of Lucy! Cautionary tale, do heed Bearsmom's advice. If Lucy is your first dog, you may not know how important it is to be in charge of her.
The biggest mistake we made with our too cute for words puppy was, to laugh when he did naughty things.
No one could blame you, if say, you let her get away with taking the car for a joy ride. Lucy is going to be a big girl and you want to be in the driver's seat. Or else, she'll be swinging past her sister's house and heading down the shore!

Lucy is just gorgeous! I love all the pictures but chose this one as my favorite because her buddy under the table with her looks just like the first dog my husband and I had together. She was a husky/shepherd etc.! Enjoy all the dogs in your life!
She obviously has a great dislike for anything fence-like, but who can blame her. A cuty-pututy like her has to be shown and displayed to the world, it would be a crime to lock her up and keep her to yourself which you obviously haven't, so many thanks to you and Lucy for brightening all of our days.
oh my gosh!!!! are there even words to describe the cuteness of this little love???
I want to pick her up and cuddle with her....take a nap with her...
Seriously, one of the cutest pups I have seen, besides mine of course. She looks like she has some golden retriever in her.
Enjoy her why she is still a puppy, they grow so fast.
Love her!!!! 11+ biscuits for me...
What an adorable baby girl. She is going to be beautiful full grown(not that she isn't now). She looks like a handful, but so much fun. Have fun playing with her.
she is soooo beautiful!!!!! she does kinda look like a husky when she holds her head and ears up!!!!! so is sooo beautiful!!!! congrats!
i really DO love lucy! this is the first doggie i've seen even come close to the 11 total biscuits! I voted hoping it would tip the scale into the full 11 but no such luck! WHAT A PERSONALITY! i love her! Give us updates on those characteristics of hers!
Oh my God!!! I wanna bring her home..she's lovely, sweet looking but very naughty and playful..I wanna hug her!!!!!
What an adorable puppy!!! She looks like the life of the house, sounds like such a character! And very clever too xD
how many other dogs do you have, if i may ask?
There are precious pictures of Lucy, there are beautiful pictures of Lucy, there are fun pictures of Lucy, and active pictures, and sleepy pictures, but this one says it all for me. You have got yourself a really determined dog there. It's a good thing that she's such a good girl!
Lucy is gorgeous! Love the ears!
