Meaty's mom says: Meaty is a 7 wk old white boxer puppy that was purchased in Lexington, NC. Her birthday was February 9, 2008. She joined our family on March 22nd. She was a gift from the Easter bunny for our 4 yr old daughter Alana. Meaty has two other friends that she lives with. Two female dachshunds named Rufus & Red who she truly adores. She loves to play outside, play chase with my daughter, and sleep across my husbands neck. She is a very sweet girl that loves attention and enjoys lots of play. She is also a very photogenic girl!

I LOVE Boxers and Meaty is absolutely precious! You may want to check her hearing though, since white Boxers are typically deaf.
What a fabulous name for the little girl. Is it short for Matilda? She is such a cutie. Her birth place is a short drive from my house. It's great to know that I live so close to a celebrity birthplace. Please deliver a massive belly rub from me. Thank you.
How cute - reminds me of my boy when he was tiny.
Get her hearing checked but PLEASE don't think that just cos they are white they will be deaf. The incidence of deafness in white boxers is only slightly higher than in coloured ones. Of course they can ALL be selectively deaf when it suits LOL!!
She is a real cutie tho!!
Meaty is so beautiful. She loves her garden!!! I wish you had sent in pictures of her 2 friends too. I hope she is healthy and i am sending her a million biscuits.

This baby could not look any more content and just savoring the moment.
Sososo cute! What a love. Give her lots of kisses and hugs. She is beautiful. Many happy and healthy years with her.
fran
ooooooo so cute a million biscuits and a belly rub
"Mom, can you give me a nice nickname? Please!!!"
Puppy tummys, I love puppy tummys, but what kind of name is Meaty for such a precious and beautiful little girl? She is lovely. I would get nothing done around the house if she were mine as I would be picking her up and kissing her all day long. All the best to you and your family and your pack!
How sweet! I love this puppy! I hope you have many happy and healthy years together! Lots of love, kisses, and biscuits to you Meaty. Hugs and cuddles from Florida! All the pictures are so cute.
For as young as she is, she certainly learned how to pose for great pictures in no time at all. Smart baby.
And I think Meaty is an adorable name and she will definitely grow in to it.
Tons of fun to Meaty and the gang.
She is so cute, but needs a more appropriate name.
Does she hear okay? My former neighbor's nephew bought a white boxer...paid $900 for him. Discovered within days that the pup was stone deaf. Breeder agreed to refund all of the money paid for the puppy in return for proof that the dog had been neutered.
Beautiful dog. He trained him with hand signals.
Oh, and that white Boxer had two white littermates. The siblings heard just fine. He was the only deaf pup in that litter.
So all white Boxers aren't deaf.
You're right on with little miss being photogenic! What a precious little armful!! Meaty must know what the camera's for when you bring it out! The only thing better than two dogs is three! Bless 'em all. Ontario, Canada
She is as cute as can be. I have to say too that the choice of a name for her was not the greatest...
Meaty is so precious!! I have always thought that boxers were cute, but yours is adorable. Enjoy her big ol' belly! :)

Certainly cute enough to keep close forever...Protect that sweet white nose from sunburn...our vet recommends vitamin E, liquid capsule rubbed in
Meaty should be called "Sweetie" cuz she's so darn adorable. Love that sleeping puppy shot! Lots of biscuits and bellyrubs!

What an adorable, precious and loveable little girl you have!!! Just too cute for words. Just how did you come up with her name?
Meaty is so adorable!! We have two boxers: a brindle and a white (really checked because he has brindle patches on his face).
Terry C -Not all white boxers are deaf, but pure white ones are more likely prone to deafness because of the lack of pigment. Checked (whites with colored patches - like my Brody who has a brindle ear and eye) are not as likely to be deaf because they do have pigment in their skin.
It was sooo hard to choose a favorite picture of Meaty (love the name)! I had to go for the one that showed the big budda bully. Meaty is just beautiful (reminds me of my bully when she was a baby). Have fun loving you new little baby!
What an amazing beauty. Please have her hearing checked. Even IF she is deaf, she can still be trained and remain a lovely addition to your home.
Please kiss her little white head for me.
What a beautiful, darling, precious sweetheart! And I love this pic -- puppy tummy & puppy tongue all in the same photo!
I suspect your 4-year-old daughter had a hand in naming Meaty -- am I right? Anyway, I think it's cute -- "Sweety Meaty."
Wishing much love & happiness for your family!
What a little dolly and a GREAT Easter gift for your daughter! Meaty will be one of the most loyal and loving puppies you will ever own. Congrats on your adorable new girl!
Meaty is so adorable! She reminds me of mine when he was a baby. I also have a white boxer, Atticus. He is almost 2 now. You are in for some wonderful fun times with her. Enjoy the ride!
what a cute little meatball! I love her name and I'm sure you guys had great reason to choose it! :)
Here's wishing you lots of love and a long life together!
Meaty is hands down a sweetie, and I hope you enjoy many happy years together!! :) She looks SO happy in this picture!!
Wow does she know how to pose. What a sweet, beautiful, smart little puppy. She must be sheer joy now and for many years to come. Hugs, kisses and a box of biscuits from Kansas.
" I'm in charge here!!" This is so unfair. All of her pictures are my favorite. It was so hard to choose. I wish you many hours filled with love, joy puppy kisses and hugs. I give you millions of biscuits from my house to yours!!
I didn't know what picture to choose, they were all so cute!! What a beautiful girl. A Zillion puppy rubs and biscuits for Meaty!!! Kisses from Erie, Pennsylvania Meaty!!
I think Meaty is a great name for this little bundle of energy!! She looks meaty!!! I've never seen a white boxer before!! She's adorable!!! Let her frolic in the flowers as long as she wants!!
What a sweetie! Never mind all the negative comments. Just give her lots of long walks, good food, toys and love, and you'll both be happy. That's all that counts...:-)
It just doesn't get any sweeter than this....
Massive amounts of biskits and major amounts of puppy lovin' for Ms. Meaty!
Hi Meaty! You are a beautiful girl! I have never seen a white boxer before--very pretty! And you seem to be quite a nature lover, too! I hope you have a great life with your new family.
"I wish people would stop telling my mommy to change my name... people don't know that I love it and answer to it because they picked it specially for me!"
Folks, lay off Meaty's parent(s) about her name. No one except her family knows why she has that name and they don't have to justify it. Just look at that dog! She's absolutely adorable and snorgleable!
A million biscuits for Ms. M.!!!
Ahoy there Meaty~! You are so sweet I could take a meaty bite
out of you ;-) She is lovely - just lovely! A very precious and special baby indeed!
I immediately thought of the show Rob and Big on VH1, they have a white bully that's named Meaty and it fits him to a T.
Adorable little baby you have! Enjoy!
I'm not sure I have ever seen a white boxer before...I love her! And what a great name for her!! Enjoy this little angel :)
Hi Everyone I am Meatys Mommy. Just to let you know all I'll be sure and answer some of your questions..lol Meaty was not my pic for a name whatsoever..lol That was clearly my daughters pick. She use to watch Rob & Big all the time and she has always wanted a english bulldog ever since she saw "Meaty" on there. Well obviously they are very expensive and like white boxers can potentially have alot of health problems. But we did alot of research and looked around and I too never knew they existed but when she saw it she said "look mommy its a Meaty dog" So Meaty was the next closest thing to what she wanted. I would rather have named her something girly. For whatever reason I like names like people like Peyton..lol Our two dachsunds are females as well and my husband named them both..Rufus & Red you have no idea how many times they have been called boys for their names..lol Oh and about her hearing.. She hears excellent. I knew already before picking her up that, that was something that could be a potential problem but my husband said regardless they need homes too. So lucky for us she hears great, we haven't had any problems yet with her as far as skin and so on and so forth. I am feeding her a food with no bi products in it just to be sure. Chicken Soup for the puppy lover's soul. I also bought some sunscreen from what i understand they can have no less than a 50, i found a 60 and made sure it didn't have paba or zinc oxide in it as they are toxic to dogs. I joined a really great white boxer group on yahoo prior to her arrival and the people have been so nice and so helpful to me. I would never breed her because I have read all the pros and cons to white boxers but I guess there are people like me that still just love their color and the breed. Prior to having children I owned two blue male dobermans and their were pros and cons to them too and we did have alot of skin issues but we dealt with them and we loved them. My dachsunds now one is epileptic and the other has a bad back and hips. So I guess theres always that chance but some are greater than others. However we will work it out as the problems arise if they do. She will be spayed probably by 5 months, and in a year or so I have been thinking about buying a male so that she can have a companion her size to play with. Maybe we will buy another white one maybe not I'm not sure yet, we just have to move first and make sure our house and yard will accomodate two boxers, two dachsunds, and two kids..lol Thanks again for all of your comments I know Meaty appreciates them =)
Is this a hap, hap, happy pup,or what? Mom has certainly done her homework on the breed and I predict a long joyful life for Meaty and her people. You go girl!
Absolutely adorable!!! My dad raised boxers and we had 2 or 3 white from time to time. None of them were deaf, although we did hear that could happen. It has been 15 years or more since I have seen a white puppy and this is the cutest little girl!!! I just want to reach out and rub her precious little belly. Btw, he raised them in NC. I always wonder when I see boxers from NC if they trace back to his. You have a gem!
I think Meaty is a great name! She is absolutely beautiful and I'm sure your daughter is thrilled to have her. Meaty looks like quite the little ball of fun - enjoy your new little baby!
I love boxers and I've never seen a white one before. What a beauty! If Alana wants to call her baby "Meaty" then "Meaty" it is! It is obvious that you and your family love your pets very much and "Meaty" will be well taken care of and much loved. God Bless You.
What a precious, darling, adorable, most wonderful little meaty marshmellow! Since I cannot pick her up and cuddle her outstanding cuteness against my yearning face, please do it for me! What a gorgeous, precious girl! I just want to hold her in my arms with a blankey and sing her a lullabye! Big SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCHES for you Meaty!
Meaty, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your name! Don't let anyone talk you into a different name. Telling someone to change their dogs name is extremely rude and ignorant. To Meaty's mommy...only NEANDERTHALS would even think to make such an ignorant comment...and are jealous over the uniqueness of Meaty's name! I love her name and I love her! KISSES AND HUGS TO LITTLE PRECIOUS MEATY!
"MEATY"
Little Meaty is a sweety!
Such a darling baby,
hugs and kisses go out to her,
an adorable snow white beauty.
Kisses Meaty, we love you so!
and wish you long life and love...
May your life be filled with happiness,
and everything you've ever dreamed of!
You will be astounded by the love this baby girl boxer will bring into your lives. She is beautiful. I adopted two boxers into my family's lives years ago and even though they have since passed onto greater pastures, my now adult children often bring them up and comment about how they can never forget the love and joy the brought into their lives. Enjoy!
Oh my goodness! What a sweet baby! I just love that color on boxers. I usually don't get to see the white ones. Anyways, best of luck with Meaty and have many happy years together!
hard to pick a favorite... too cute. Something about a dog "chillin" that makes me jealous... they are simply the best at it...
I don't recall ever seeing a white Boxer. She is so adorable. The name Meaty doesnt seem to go with the cuteness. But if you add Sweetie to it like "sandrahendra" did, it sounds good. Meaty is such a tiny love now. Bet she will get BIG and too soon. Enjoy her lots and give lots of treats too. Such an angel when she is sleeping too.
Truly ADORABLE!!!! She is just precious...I just love boxers, and these pictures are beautiful!!!!! Love the name too.....no matter WHERE you got it (responding to "rose jk"s RUDE comment!!!!!!) Here's to many happy and healthy years to you and MEATY!!!!!!!
I love this sweet little girl!!!! What a cutie! I love the name - it is fun. I just pet sat for two brown boxers this year and now I know why people love them - they are wonderful dogs. Lots of belly rubs and bis cuits for Meaty!!! Give the doxies some too!
I'm on cute overload. Meaty is absolutely adorable. I've never seen a pure white boxer before. A bazillion biscuits and nose kisses for Meaty. What a sweet gift. I had a very hard time picking a favorite picture, but this one just stole my heart. Only a truely loved pet would be able to lay like this.
Just look at that sweet baby girl getting her beauty rest! I could still me some kisses from that tummy and those little thigh hunches!!!! Many years of blessed health and lovins for you and your precious little girl!
i agree with bluenoser, i do believe this is the happiest puppy in the world! Love all of the pictures, tooooo cute!

DO WORK, Meaty!!!
The name is awesome & I'm sure she will live up to her namesake. Have a long & wonderful life, Meaty!!
I love Meaty... I never seen a white boxer before and she is absolutely beautiful.....What an angel. Great to hear that her hearing is good. Please give her many belly rubs as her belly is so adorable.
I rarely comment, but your darling brought a huge smile to my face this morning. She's a beauty queen.
This is puppy perfection (and I LOVE the little pink tongue sticking out!!)

OMIGOD!! I'm thinking, what a cute little girl, and what an adorable name and then I got to this picture. I blurt outloud OMIGOD!! Well, if she isn't cuteness in overload, I don't know what is. She has MADE MY DAY. She's a lucky girl and you are lucky to have her too. A whole bushel of biscuits for everybody!!
Meaty, you are quite the pretty princess! You're adorable & unique - quite the head-turner. I hope your family gives you lots of belly rubs & biscuits. I wish you many happy, healthy years together!
SOOOO sweet!!! I love Boxers in general but the whites really are my favorite. She is precious and your little girl is so lucky to have her:D
Are you kidding me!!?!! She is gorgeous--what a funny, chubby, little white chunk of love. I want to kiss that belly! What a fun family she has joined--she'll be the creamy white filling to your other 2 red cookies.
Loads of biscuits and love to the whole furry bunch!
oh my goodness a white boxer... my favorite kind... that littel nose and that pink belly... it's too much ... cuteness overload!! aaarrrggghhhh!!!!!
change her name to Pearl!!
Oh my GAWWWWWD!!! This baby is so adorable, I want to smother her with kisses and hugs! God bless you all with a long, happy, healthy life with tons laughter and fun! What an angel! XOXOXO
We have a white boxer who we adopted when he was 9 months--we never got to see what he looked like as a baby and Meaty is just adorable!!! FYI: even if she is deaf, she'll make a fantastic dog! Our Otis is deaf and he pays more attention to us and what we tell (using sign language) him to do than any hearing dog I've had!
"mehhhh, this is the life of an adorable pup!!!"
i love this puppy and want to rub her soft pink belly.
and i love her name! :)
Meaty- you are an absolute DOLL! What a cutie you are! And I LOVE your name, even more so knowing that a sweet little girl picked it out for you! You are a gorgeous girl and you have a family who loves you, aren't you the lucky one!
I am shocked at all of the comments from people who are negative about your name, Meaty. I would think that a community of dog lovers wouldn't be so negative about someone else's dog- name, appearance, or anything. I thought this was a forum to share and build up with compliments and praise, not tear down with negativity. Shame on all of you. And I agree with Luie'smom... if you cant say something nice then dont say anything at all! [/blue]
To Meaty and her wonderful family:
Kudo's to you and your husband for getting such a special puppy for you daughter. The name your daughter choose for meaty is very special. Meaty is absolutly a beautiful girl. I can't pick a favorite photo as they are all precious. I have had four boxers in my life, two were brindles one passed away at 12 weeks due to a heart condition, the other brindle at 6.5 years due to lymphoma sarcoma. I currently have two white boxers Sebastian 8 years old, which I rescued at 14 weeks and Sasha two years young that I rescued. I live in sunny Florida, they have never had hearing or seeing problems only loving their people owners too much if that is at all possible for a boxer. All of my boxers have proved to be such funloving loyal pets. I think white boxer are so extra special due to peoples perception of them. They are also great with children and very protective. I wish you wonderful years with you beautiful girl.
Sebastian&Sasha'smom
If youlook at just the puppy, it looks like she is enjoying her bath time and then you see she is enjoying rolling in flowers. What a beautiful little girl. My Vandal (shih tzu) would like to play with her. He likes playing with big dogs. By any chance, are you in Portland, Oregon? Kiss the tummy for me.
Meaty is just so beautiful and adorable, and I love her unusual name, it really suits her. She looks very gentle but with great character, she must be lots of fun to have around. Wouldl love to give her a big kiss and cuddle. 11++++ biscuits for gorgeous Meaty xxx
I love boxers and have never seen a white one. I can barely handle the cuteness here. You're lucky I live very far away or I'd be stalking your house hoping to get a glimpse of her :) And I absolutely love her name, we watch Rob and Big all the time and the best part about that show is cute Meaty the skate boarding doggie. Perfect name for her. Enjoy her!
Too Precious!
