Milou's mom says: I had been wanting a puppy for months and, one day, went to the supermarket and saw an adorable English springer spaniel puppy in someone's arms. I enquired and found out that he wasn't for sale but his seven brothers and sisters were. I rushed home and we immediately went to see the puppies. We were immediately taken with the runt of the litter. She had a friendly personality and won our hearts when she jumped into the water bowl to cool off. Her obsession with swimming has continued... from a small baby pool to a lake in Vermont. We named her Milou (the name of a famous comic strip dog in France) when we discovered she has expensive taste in people treats (pate and French cheese). In her free time, she also enjoys playing frisbee and tearing apart chew toys. Her latest trick is unlocking the back door!

I've had two springers over the past 17 years (my old boy passed in the spring at 16). They are a constant source of joy. Milou will steal your heart.

Chaps fell in love with Milou at first sight. From personal experience Milou is the cutest dog he has ever seen. I loved it when she dove into my fish pond - very cool!

Shes cute, but be careful because dairy can be very harmful to dogs. They do not have the enzyme lactase that is necessary to break down lactose, the sugar in milk. Your baby could end up with pancreatitis which has a high fatality rate. Dairy can be as toxic to dogs as chocolate. It is good to research what 'human foods' a dog can eat before indulging them. Their bodies do not work like ours, therefore their diet must be different as well. You would be surprised what foods can be harmful to dogs. Just want you and beautiful Milou to be happy and healthy!
Milou is beautiful but better yet you can see the warmth and loving kindness in her eyes. Clearly she is very bright, happy, and exceedingly loved by her human Mom and Dad.
