Nissa's mom says: Nissa was born in Victoria (Australia), and now lives with us in Western Australia. She's only been living with us for about a week so far, but we love her to bits already. As soon as we saw her, we knew she was the right puppy for us! We think Nissa is the most beautiful puppy in the world. She is mostly gray and white, with a black stripe down her back and some sable around her ears. She loves to play, but is at the stage where she also loves to nip at everything - including fingers and toes! As well as body parts, Nissa loves to eat our garden, and we will quite often spot her with a few flowers or some grass hanging out of her mouth. Nissa is also a sucker for a good belly rub, and will happily sit for ages if she scores one. She loves to run and jump - it was hard work getting these photos, because so often she'd move so fast that we'd end up with a photo of the ground! We're so happy Nissa is part of our family.

Oooh Nissa, what a beautiful girl!! You are so pretty, and I bet you're a bright little one!!
million biscuits and kisses for Nissa!

Nissa is a really lovely looking put, but will you have to clip her coat a great deal? West Australia gets awfully hot in the summertime. Hope you all have a terrific time and lots of enjoyment together!
Congrats on little Nissa. My Aunt and Uncle raised 8 of these beautiful dogs and they make wonderful family pets. Remember she is meant to PULL so keep a firm hand on walks. I completely agree with Kittypup's comment about clipping, when my auntie moved to North Carolina her two dogs needed regular sheering to keep them cool -- don't worry it looks great on them. All the best!
Oh Nissa what a cute baby you are. Love all the piccies. Enjoy your life sweetheart. hogs, cuddles and biscuits. xxxx
aaaaaw!i've always loved siberian huskies and Nissa you are the cutest of all!Kisses biscuits and loads of hugs!
thanks for your wonderful comments about Nissa so far (I'm her Dad). As to the clipping, we actually live in the south of WA and its generally a bit colder here plus we always have a fair bit of windchill. Also the double coat of the husky actually insulates against both the cold and the heat so we probably wont have to do to much clipping. Its coming into winter now though so we will have to see how she goes when summer comes around
what a fuzzy, furry, soft beautiful puppy! She's beautiful. Congratulations. Lots of biscuits and bellyrubs for Nissa!
Nissa is a beauty, a genuine beauty and these are lovely pictures of her, if she were mine, she would be covered in kisses all the time. She looks like she will be a big girl, my Brother adopted one of these - his name is Max and he is like a pony, I think Nissa will be also - what a wonderful breed they are, all the best with her!
"What? What does STAY STILL mean? Why did you put my front legs like this? Can I run yet? Can I? Can I? Hmm?!"
She is a very pretty girl. Pink shell ears! Squee!
Nissa IS a very beautiful pup. It sounds like she is also very smart. Have fun playing and belly rubbing!
What a sweet, plush, pretty little girl. You will have many years of love and devotion from this little princess.
AAAWWW!!! I've never seen a Husky pup before, only full-grown! Nissa you are absolutely the cutest little fluffy puppy ever!!
nissa is adorable, and i know what you mean about loving them to pieces instantly. good luck with her!!!!
i had a husky growing up
she was the sweetest smartest most devoted dog
nissa is lovely
her name is pretty too, what does it mean?
Nissa is just adorable. I adopted an adult husky mix & bet she looked a lot like Nissa when she was a puppy. About the clipping, I agree that the double coat helps keep her warm in the winter & cool in the summer. Mother Nature already took care of that. You will just have to keep up w/grooming when she sheds. Best of luck w/ Nissa. I think she will be a big girl, look at her paws in this picture, She is just beautiful. 11+++ biscuits.
Oh poor you! Not a Siberian! You'll never be the same!!! :-) haha
I've had Sibes for years now and they do get under your skin. I have 2 now that I rescued and it turns out the female is pregant
(big surprise there) - Would you like company for Nissa? ;-)
Anyway, she sure does look like she will keep you busy - but I am sure she is a charmer and full of love! Many happy years with your girl. She is lovely.
Nissa you are such a cutie pie. I so want a husky. I think they are just beautiful babies. I hope you have a long and happy life with your family. I hope you bring them just as much joy as they as they give you love. I give you 1000's of biscuits and puppy kisses!!!!

What a sweet face. Nissa is ready to play but watch out for those sharp little baby teeth. Absolutely Adorable! I hope you have many, many happy years together!
It's official. I've lost my heart to this little girl.
Nissa is so beautiful, and has such an expressive face!!
Many happy years to you!
Wow, Nissa is a real beauty - you can see that athletic physique just waiting to come out with those strong legs - and such beautiful coloring. Enjoy your spirited baby.
Love that raccoon mask on her face! She looks very intelligent. Is she going to be mushing across the Outback? I know you're going to have a ball with this sweet baby. Long and happy life to your family!
Nissa. you are just beautiful, as you no doubt know. Now your mom and dad can have fun kissing and hugging and belly rubs together with lots of treats for you; you can show them how smart you are by learning all of the hand and verbal commands they give you then just back and listen to them brag about you to the other family and friends. Have a wonderful life, Baby. h
Oh, I didn't know that chewing on the couch was considered rude. No, I won't do it again. ... really.
I love, love, love her. She reminds me of my baby Thor as a pup. HE was such an active fluff-ball. Now he's the best Sibe around here in East Texas. I've never had to clip him up either, even at 110 degrees! He always gets all the photo attention on our 5K runs b/c he is so striking. I bet yoru baby Nissa will too!! Enjoy every moment with her, the "conversations" will be as endless as the energy... In fact, wait a year or two and get another! I am about to adopt another Sibe myself - as Thor is slightly slowing down in his later years (8) he's starting to get lonely/bored when I am not home. You will also love the way they bend all cat-like and fold their paws under. They can be great hams & clowns.
Best of luck, lots of belly rubs and bunny chases to you both! Millions of puppy cookies and cow bones!
Although I'm a little doggie person myself, Nissa has just about convinced me otherwise! What a beautiful, no.....gorgeous! babe she is!!!! Nissa, if you could stay small enough to fit on my lap, I'd want you all for myself! But alas, I think you're going to be one BIG girl when you grow up! :-)) Good for you! Just as nature intended!
Well, I wish you a long and happy life with your family and enjoy winter down under! Up here, in the Great White North (southern Ontario), spring is finally coming! Hoorray! :-) Millions of biscuits and tummy rubs, little sweetie!
She is BEAUTIFUL and I can tell she likes the camera. You've hit the jackpot when you adopted her. You'll have many years of a loving and happy companion.
Oh so cute. I bet she is good cuddle buddy. Although in Australia I think it is to hot to cuddle a fury puppy.
Nissa is darling! I have a feeling you will all be laughing A LOT with unabandon - way too cute and looks like there is lots of mischief in those beautiful eyes. Much love, happiness and health to all.
Nissa is lovely! She's going to grow up to be a beautiful lady. :)
lots of love and biscuits to her!!!
[i]Aw! Nissa is such a precious little girl, and a perfect example of the Siberian Huskies!
I wish I had a husky really badly, and maybe she would be as cute as Nissa! I love how she looks playful and innocent in all her pictures. She seems to be the type of dog you always want to be around.
11 well earned buscuits, good luck wishes, and blessings!

Nissa - you are very cute! I just love everything about you, I'd love to puppy-sit you and snuggle with you.
Pet me! Pet me! I'll do ANYTHING for some doggy biscuits! I'll even fetch the morning paper but most importantly, I'll give the best cuddles! Woof!
She says "ok ok go ahead, take the pic" lol..
She is beautiful. Many years of Belly rubs to you pretty girl..
I am glad you have found your perfect puppy!!
Oh, Nissa is so adorable! We adopted our Sibe Sasha as a stray a year ago. You will never be bored! As long as she has shade and water I think she should be fine. Sasha endured our hot Colorado summer with no issues and her favorite thing to do is to lie in the sun.
Clare loves your puppy. SHe thinks you should name her after her. Yes, she already has a name, but you should still re-name her.
Ditto to everything. This is a rare beauty you've shared with us.
I think we should vote with belly rubs, don't you!
I think most all puppies are cute but Nissa is very pretty too. Beautiful coloring with fun packed inside. Enjoy her, love her. Give plenty treats and belly rubs.
Many Huskies don't know they aren't lap dogs. My parents' late Husky Ernestine would climb into laps all the time, especially if you were sitting where she wanted to sit. And I agree about clipping their fur - my family lived in Kentucky and San Antonio with Huskies and never had a problem. As long as they have plenty of water - which is true of any dog - they're fine.
Look how LITTLE she is!! She'll grow up big and they are such a beautiful breed anyway. Oh you are so lucky to have such a sweet little girl to start out with. When she grows into her fullness, what a beauty you will have! I could just squish her with loving!! A hundred bags of biscuits for this darling!
Nissa is beautiful...I love the colors. Lucky you! God Bless you all with love, health, and happiness.
Very unusual markings for a siberian. The color around her eyes almost make her look like a raccoon. She's beautiful
omg puppy!!!!!! she just wants to make me pet her and hug her and never let her go! shes so cute!!!!!!!! i love huskies. give her lots of bisuits and kisses for me!
Nissa is so beautiful. Siberian Huskies were the first dogs with which I ever fell in love. This is why!
Nissa is a wonderful dog.... I love pups... hehe.... I love his pointed ears and his cute little eyes..... :D Have fun with your pup!!
Hi Nissa you are so pretty, I think you would be a handfull!!!!
I am also named Nissa, so from one Nissa to another " You go girl"
Oh she is a beauty! Our sibe, Eska, passed away at the grand old age of 13 last November. We miss her terribly. Enjoy many happy and healthy years with your beautiful girl!
"Where's the snow?" Well, Nissa, you sound like all the other happy puppies in the world. My friend rescued a Husky, Pepsi, the day before he was scheduled to be put down. He is now 15 years old and still the apple of everyone's eye. He's beyond cute... still. I wish you the same. Tell Mom there's a very sweet movie starring Cuba Gooding and James Coburn about Huskies called "Snow Dogs." Rent it because you'll all enjoy it, but especially you. Ruff, ruff.
AWWWWWW!! She is beautiful. By the look of her she is going to be a big girl. She makes you feel like you want to pat her all day :).
OMG i just love the her lol !!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy your happy and healthy life :)
She's so pretty now, I can just imagine how beautiful she's going to turn out when she grows into those paws!

OMG! It is totally impossible to resist that cute face! I love her! A trillion bisquits for this little cutie!
Nissa is a beautiful little girl. Enjoy this lovely breed. My sister had 4 Newfoundland here in Illinois (USA)and found they loved being shaved every summer. You will have so much fun watching this puppy grow.
She is beautiful. Glad you know not to clip her. Their coat is important as it protects them from the heat as well as the cold.
She is so adorable! I just adopted a Siberian Husky she is six weeks old. Nissa is a beautiful Siberian Husky
