Penny Arezoo the Vizsla
My boyfriend and I got Penny Arezoo (Arezoo is Persian for "wish") outside Sacramento, California and brought her home to San Francisco. Now she is a city dog! She is the sweetest, most loving dog--she cuddles like a lap dog, even though she won't be small for much longer. She enjoys sticks, pine cones and any kind of paper product. But she loves leaves the most; she goes crazy for them. Her favorite thing (so far) is going to the park that is right next to our house. She likes to smell all the smells, watch the other dogs, and make friends on the days she's not feeling too shy. Most dogs really seem to like her. She is never too jumpy and is always gentle with the smaller dogs. She is a very special little girl and we're so happy to have her.

Boy!!!, you can sure see some traits of bloodhound in her, look at those toes and ears, not to mention the long legs. Ab-so-lute-ly adorable. Make sure you give her nose a good workout, it'll keep her extremely happy. Bloodhounds like to "follow" scents, so make a game of it since you don't live in the country. One thing you can do is have your BF take one of your shirts that you wear alot and have him walk toward the park and rub it on different things. Then he comes back and you go to the park with the shirt in hand and let her follow the trail to you. When she "finds" you, give her lots of love and "good girls". She have lots of fun with that. Lotsa doggie treats and belly rubs to you Penny!!!

what a beautiful and athletic young lady! It's cute about her being a lap dog...friends had a Viszla who was brought up by their 4 cats, so he loved to sit on the back of the couch with his feet tucked in and also loved sitting on laps, even when he was a big full grown dog! My pastor owns vizslas, they're the only dogs he swears by! They're gorgeous, muscular, sweet tempered, protective, and wonderfully active. If you need to lose pounds or if you just love to be outdoors, get a vizsla, they're work you out!! So cute!!
