Ricky Nelson the Cockapoo
Ricky Nelson is a puppy who already thinks he's a grown up dog. He enjoys chasing leaves and ankles, stopping people on the street, and trying to keep up with the big dogs. He is learning how to swim, walk down stairs, and follow directions. He can already sit and lie down on command (when there aren't more interesting things to do), and he is just discovering the joys of walking on a leash.

My son was able to get a chocolate one for my DIL's BD. He does not stop running! How fast those little legs go!! Looks just like yours! He was bought a a really low price and Wit, don't spoil somebody's choice of an animal because of your feelings. I had a cockapoo named Oreo for 14 years. He was the love of my life. Outside of being black, he looked just like Ricky Nelson. I loved the fact that he didn't shed and that comical look of a cockapoo is so endearing. Enjoy Ricky for years to come!
I own 2 large Labbies but if I were ever to get a small dog (in addition to my 2), it would be a cockapoo. He is SO cute and sweet looking. Good for you!

I am the proud parent of what I call the "WalMart Special"; runt of the litter - no one wanted her. So fine, I obtained my baby that way. Ricky....99% of the bloggers here think you are precious and we all want you to know that and that is why we post comments, to make sure that you are aware of this!!! Your parents must be so proud and I am sure I speak for us all when I say YOU ARE TOOOOOO CUTE!!!! You do resemble a stuffed animal but I am pretty sure you are much better to cuddle with than a stuffed animal!!! If I could vote more, I would send you a dump truck full of dog biscuts!!! :)

Oh my goodness is there some cuteness going on in that body! I want Ricky to marry my Miss Tussie (May 7th, 2008 featured puppy) so there will be sooooo much cuteness we can't stand it-that face is too cute-he almost looks angry for being such a cutie-bet people can't keep their hands off of him-very cute puppy!

Ricky is a dead ringer for my mini goldendoodle Tess which was on The Daily Puppy last August. I know he'll look different when he's older but Cockapoos and Doods look a lot alike as young 'uns. You picked a long lived crossbreed. Their website claims 18 -20 years longevity. Ricky is very cute indeed.
