Roo's mom says: Roo is a new addition to our family, born March 18, 2006. He weighs in at three-and-a-half pounds, compared to his seven-pound stepbrother Chihuahua, Zeus. Roo was accepted with open paws and was taken right under Zeus’s wing. They give each other regular baths and make sure they each get plenty of exercise. The two of them are inseparable. I adopted Roo from a private breeder who chose his name because when he runs, he hops. I thought it was the perfect name for him. Watching him run and play is the funniest thing to witness. Sometimes I think I have a “Tigger†in the house rather than a puppy when he bounces from here to there and back again. He learned the hard way about bouncing too much and broke his little leg. Overall, he is a bundle of joy and I couldn't imagine a day without him.

Roo's cast came off 3 weeks ago, so he is all better. There is no stopping him now! You would think my back yard was a race track and he was a grey hound.
