DailyPuppy is trying something new and featuring an adoptable puppy ... Meet Snickers. Brooke's Animal Rescue saved me at three days old from being killed just because I was too young to be adopted. I am so happy that I have a safe place to grow until I can find my forever home. I love to chase things and play outside with my foster brothers and sisters. I especially love playing with my best friends, Petunia the Great Dane and Siem the Kitten. If you are interested in becoming my forever home, please visit: www.brookeslegacyanimalrescue.com. I am not currently listed because I am only five weeks old, so I still have a few more weeks with my mommy. Please Note: Because of Snickers young age, she is NOT available for adoption right now.
What a wonderful idea! Snickers, I wish my house could be your forever home but it's so full right now... I know that wonderful parents will find you and love you!!!
What a great idea, DP people !! Will you update us on whether the adoptions are successful ? Love Lynda XX
This puppy is very adorable and I hope he gets a very safe and loving FOREVER HOME! Siickers deserves the BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a great idea! I hope you'll use the term "puppy" loosely, and include adoptable adult dogs too! I have 3 rescued adult (5+ yrs young) mixed breed dogs that I always refer to as "my puppies". I also agree with Minkiesmum and hope you'll keep us updated about these featured dogs... i.e. let us know how they're doing!
What a marvelous idea, but I definitely agree with rhybeckah that you simply must include "older" adoptable dogs. Also, if you could just tell us what state the adoptables are in, that would be helpful. GREAT idea. Keep up the good work, and Snickers will, hopefully, be just the first in a long line of happily- ever-after stories.
I would definately take Snickers hoem to have as my pet he is SOOOOOOOOO cute!!! + my dogs needs some extra company!!! xxxx
I agree that this is a *brilliant idea*, and also hope that you will follow-up on all of the dogs, so we can see how they are doing. Beautiful Snickers, should have no touble finding love and a forever home. Just look at those markings and that face!! He's just "adorwooble"! I would take him in a heartbeat if I could. Squeezes & kisses, and all the best to you Snickers~*
What a sweet little pup!! I hope you find your forever home real soon. You deserve the chance to have a good home! Best wishes, sweet pup!! Smooches to you!! XOXOXO
Well done Brooke's Animal Rescue, what a compassionate act saving little Snickers. Someone will be very lucky. My next dog will definately be from a shelter instead of a breeder, as so many of them like little Snickers are waiting for homes.
Look at that "sit!" Snickers is obviously a genius to have mastered this so soon!!! Best of luck little Snickers. You will make some house a home.
Oh Snickers, you are so beautiful. I truly hope some lucky sole here sees you and contacts Brookes to make arrangements to take you home. Biscuits and bellyrubs and best wishes for a happy, healthy, love-filled future from Pam in Toronto.
What a great idea, to reach so many people who would be able to care for a dog. This is a beautiful puppy, and if I could have a dog, I would love him. He will give someone many years of happiness.
Oh my goodness Snickers you are such an adorable little smoocher aren't you! Who wouldn't love to take you home! I know I'd love to! Wishing you many years of life, love and happiness, and a kazillion hugs, kisses, belly rubs and doggy bikkies you adorable little sweety!!! xoxoxo
This is WONDERFUL~Great rescue! YES...please keep us updated on Snicker's finding his forever home, (or his home finding him) I too, have 3 rescues, all under 3! (What WAS I thinking?!) Best move I've ever made...! Do it!!! Adopting rescues! The lucky someone that gets Snickers, will get a pal for life! Look at him ALREADY with Petunia! He'll be 'GREAT' (no pun intended...) with brothers & sisters! GO FOR IT! Yippee!
It was so tough to pick a picture of Snickers to comment on. They are all so cute but I do love this one with his friend. I hope he finds a wonderful home. He's a cute little boy.
WONDERFUL idea, and kudos to whoever at Daily Puppy thought of it! May I suggest that, with the "Grown Up Pup" section you feature an older dog that needs a forever home from time to time? They are harder to place than the pups, and need all the good will they can get!
I too wish I could get another dog but my situation prevents me from doing so. She looks like Rottie and Bernese Mountain dog mix. So beautiful. I would definitely adopt her.
What a cute puppy, With looks like that you should find a new forever home very soon. My mean ol' landlord won't allow me to have pets.
Snickers looks like an Entlebucher Sennenhund (one of the Swissy breeds). Try their rescue org. It would be unusual, since they're rare and breeders are very picky about what happens with their pups, but worth a try.
Oh my heart is breaking!!! You are a sweet little one. God bless you in your journey. I pray for a good home for you! :)
Snickers you're just about the cutest little thing. And Daily Puppy people, a WONDERFUL idea. Keep up the good work and please let us know the progress on finding a forever home for this precious pup.
I LOVE this idea. What a great way to get the word out about the wonderful animals available for adoption!
Terrific idea! Let's use this website to help orphaned doggies locate their forever homes. Please do this for adult dogs too, since many dogs after the age of 6 years end up in shelters. It's too sad. Good luck to little Snickers and all dogs that need good homes!
"Oh noes! I'm under attack from a tiny cute thing!" What a cutie-patootie. And kudos to TDP for helping out the puppies in need of homes.
Snickers, you are so gorgeous you deserve a wonderful, loving forever home and I hope you find it very soon. I adore the little white smudge on your nose! Love you babe xxxx
Awww Snickers you are adorable! I wish I could have a puppy in my apt or I would adopt you in a heard beat! :)
Snickers I wish I lived in your area or even your country -but a beautiful boy like you should have a forever home by afternoon! Daily Puppy-this is a brilliant idea-kudos!
Wonderful idea, DP folks! I work at a shelter so it's nice to see adoptable puppies (and dogs!) see the spotlight so they have greater chances of finding forever homes. Kudos! Good luck to you, little Snickers.
I love you Snickers! I know you will find a loving home. Please keep us updated on your progress. If I could I would take you home with me but alas, I already take care of a menagerie of four. I will say a little prayer for you to go to a good home! Love,Bucky and Bailey's Mom
What a great idea!! There are so many wonderful people out there looking for dogs/puppies that just need a good home and that aren't pure breds. I hope that Snickers finds his/her forever home!! Snickers you definitely look like your are part Rottie, what a good puppy you will be!
Thank you for this great idea Daily Puppy! This is the best place to show off adorable adoptables. No one on this site can withstand doggie cuteness! Keep us posted on Snickers.
I think this is a great idea! Snickers is adorable, I know he will find his forever home. I also agree with the other DP posters that your should feature an older adoptable dog on the Grown Up Puppy site as well. I would love to have Snickers, but my house is already full with two big dogs, and my husband said no more! Snickers looks like a real sweetheart though.
Great Idea!! Please also include adult "puppies" as they are harder to place. Snickers will certainly be adopted quicker as a result of being shown on the DP
Now thats a great idea! But like the two ladies said, please add the state. I'd say poor Petunia will soon get her rest. Snickers is so cute he'll go to a wonderful home soon! She looks like, "kid! I'm trying to take a nap!"
Awww, what a handsome lil boy! I hope he and his siblings all get wonderful homes. This is a really good idea Daily Puppy!
What a great idea! You are adorable & I'm sure you will find a wonderful home! I wish I could take you, but I already have 2 Beagles!
What a fantastic idea! With a face like this it won't be hard to find him (and other pups)a good home.
Cute puppy!!! Great idea to feature adoptable puppies! I looked up the rescue for Snickers and it is in Naples,Florida. Hope someone in the area takes this cutie home.
Thank you SO MUCH for doing this. It's wonderful seeing all the great puppies who have families, but it's even better knowing a pup might get a new home through here. Please consider doing these features on the adult dog of the day side of things as well!
Snickers looks like my Willie. He is a huge dog now but I found him tiny like Snickers standing in the middle of the road. I did a u-turn and went back to get him. When I picked him up, he flattened out on the ground and screamed and screamed - he wouldn't quit. I bounced him in my arms and cooed to him and he suddenly put his muzzle under my chin and sighed like I never heard a sigh before. I put him in my van and he curled up and fell asleep and slept all the way home. I would trust that dog with my life and my other dog's life and my kitties'. I tell him every day that the best thing I ever did was stop and pick him up. Someone out there can get that same feeling with Snickers.
oh such a baby doll. Brings tears to my eyes because I wish I could adopt ALL the puppies and kittens in the world, so they would be safe and loved. Breaks my heart that I can't take them all. Anyway, best wishes sweetheart... may God bring you the best owner just for you. God Bless.
What an adorable little baby!!! I wish I could adopt this little bundle of cuteness, but I don't know if I could handle another dog! Wait, what am I saying? Of COURSE I can! ;o) Well, either way, I don't live anywhere near this little Snickers. :o( Looks like he has a little bit of Rottie in him! :o) I hope you find a forever home very soon Snickers! And I have to say, I REALLY love the idea of the Adoptable Puppy! That is a wonderful way of getting the word out to find homes for these little ones!
OMG! You are too cute! I hope you find a good home, if I could afford another dog I would take you in a minute. I have eight pets right now and couldn't take you but certainly wish I could. I know with the help of the Daily Puppy you will find a good home! Lots of luv and biscuits!
KUDOS to all of you at DP!! What an excellent idea. I really hope that you keep everyone updated on their progress. I wish I could adopt him myself, but I'm already way over the limit!
First thing I thought of is a Snickers bar - since Snickers is deliciously cute and sweet. I will only have to think of this absolutely precious little guy to get a boost. And I am so glad he is getting a boost on this site!! I'm sure he will get many many offers. Thank you for helping this little angel. His coloring is just beautiful.
This is a wonderful idea. Snickers is just so adorable and cuddley, I know he will get his forever home soon. Please we need to know the outcome of his story. Love all of the pictures, he looks like a bundle of fun.
Snickers is absolutely adorable. I'm sure he'll be adopted and it's a great service for the Daily Puppy to provide to help find these great dogs loving forever homes. I hope any siblings and his mama all find happy places. It's heart-breaking to know that he could have been killed just for being too young. Thank goodness for Brooke's Animal Rescue. They are literally saving dogs' lives and I have nothing but respect and appreciation for all they do.
OMG, he looks like a Rotti mix. I would love to have him, but I've already been blessed with two dogs. I don't think you'll have much trouble finding a home for him, he's great!
Fantastic, DP!!!! Yes, yes, YES! What a great use of your site!! Definitely agree with the previous posts - give the pup's location as well. I have no doubt that Snickers is going to find a great home in no time!
He is adorable! Just to let everyone know, we will also be featuring 'Adoptable Grown-Up Puppies' in the near future!
Snickers is incredibly gorgeous, amazingly cute! My sincerest thanks & appreciation to the wonderful people @ BrooksLegacyRescue for saving this darling angel! Also, CONGRATULATIONS & THANK YOU to DP! This is a FANTASTIC idea-& a true testimony to the ETHICAL concern of DP & it's ability to MAKE A DIFFERENCE for puppies & dogs who need their forever home, maybe with one of our wonderful posters! Not the right time right now for me, unfortunately. But PLEASE keep us updated, & PLEASE, PLEASE keep this going with "pups" of all ages. G-d bless the people who thought of this & initiated it @ The Daily Puppy! You have made my day/week/year with this reaffirmation that there REALLY is reason to be hopeful for orphan dogs due to the kindness of humans!!!!
I just joined the Daily Puppy so I could voice how happy I am with this concept! Please keep it up. These helpless, voiceless dogs need our support! I know Snickers will find a loving, forever home. Keep it up, DP!!!
What a pleasant surprise this morning! You MUST add older dogs and You MUST keep us posted on any successes.( Please??) I agree this little guy is a Rottie mix and surely amongst us good people someone has the perfect home for him. Good luck little Snickers!
Snickers, how do you like being one of the cutest, most adorable puppies EVER?! This is a great idea and, like everyone else, I would love to get an update on this little guy and any other adoptable dogs featured.
Snickers is just precious...I know he'll have a new home soon...wish it could be mine! Awesome idea to feature adoptable puppies/dogs, Daily Puppy!!!!
This is pure perfection! Years ago (11) I was able to walk into a pound and take out 7 pups who were going to be put to sleep. It was the most rewarding experience of my life. With 11 'babes now I can't anymore. I encourage someone out there to adopt this babe and maybe another? You will NEVER REGRET IT!!! Hurray for the Daily Puppy for helping out!!!! Another Good Guy!!
Absolutely Wonderful! Thank you Daily Puppy. What a wonderful idea. This baby is absolutely precious. I hope Snickers and all the littermates find a loving, forever home. Bless you Snickers.
What a great idea! I'm sure Snickers will find a home. Maybe the DP can post adoption success stories too!
snickers. if i could adopt you i would in a second but i just had a baby and i moved to a country that hates dogs and poisons them. you would not be happy here. i am sure that you will find a great home in the US. you are too cute for words, and far too sweet to be alone, you are a lucky puppy on his way to his forever family. i love you snickers.
I haven't commented in quite some time, but just had to log in to say that The Daily Puppy has done a fantastic thing promoting an adoptable puppy. Please let us have much, much more. Snickers is one of the cutest little things I've seen in quite some time. No doubt, someone will snatch him up quickly.
I wish you a wonderful forever family, Snickers! If I didn't already have 5 furries, I'd take you in a hearbeat! You're a handsome furbaby!
Brooke's Rescue is such a good place to adopt from. They are very supportive! It's where Sama came from - and he's a wonderful, smart, healthy puppy.
Boy, you sure are making it hard for us to say 'no' after looking at these lushous pictures! He is surely one cute boy (Rottie mix). I pray someone will run and get him.
Pretty puppy!!! I'd love to take you home but I live too far away. But someone will give yu lots of love and kisses I know.
This is just so lovely. Everyone needs someone to cuddle up to and feel safe. In England we have a chocolate bar call 'snickers'. I think this beautiful little puppy is more scrumptious! I feel sure that this little sweetheart will find the right forever home soon, and good luck to his friends as well xx
What a precious little muffin! Snickers is so cute and looks like a sweet little snuggler. I wish her the best of luck in finding a forever home and thank DP for this wonderful service.
Oooooooooh, Snickers, I'm so glad you survived and I wish I could bring you home with me. I will pray that you find a wonderful family to adopt you (and I'm sure it won't be a difficult task with you being so absolutely freaking adorable!).
Oh you dirty rotten scoundrels!! How can you post such an adorable baby and say I'm up for grabs? Do you realize how many heart strings you've just tugged? I hope Snickers has a line of wanna-be parents a mile long waiting to take him home when adoption day arrives. What a sweetheart beyond words. And mama is a beauty too. Look at her eyes! EEEK....I'm in freakout overload...... d irty underhanded thing to do.....good thing I don't live there....how would I explain this to my sister and our two dogs and two cats???
Someone must be out there to adopt this gorgeous little baby. I can't - I live in Australia and in a tiny yardless flat. There has to be someone for him. He's so cute.
