Tessie is the sweetest dog we know. We rescued her through the Save-a-Sato program from Puerto Rico. She was very timid and shy when we got her at three months old, but she has come a very long way! She loves other dogs, especially her pointer mix brother Skippy. She loves to be outside taking a long walk through the woods or digging a nice big hole in the yard. She enjoys playing with bully sticks and anything that Skippy is playing with. She gives big kisses and loves to cuddle on the couch. Tessie is a wonderful girl and I am so glad we found her!

I've never posted before, but couldn't resist because your Tessie could be a clone of our dog, right down to the white sox and tuxedo vest! Born in Ohio, she was also a stray, and we have often wondered what the "mix" is. Maybe hound, because like Tessie she also has long legs and is thinner and smaller than a pure Lab. She has the sweetest personality so I'm sure that Tessie will shower you with affection for many years! Many biscuits!

Lovely Tessie! We had a lab mix that looked so like her. Jessie was a wonderful dog and we recently lost her after 15 years. She was the best girl ever! Enjoy your Tessie and give lots of hugs to her. She will make you a great dog!!

I can really see the Lab in her face in this pic,She reminds me a lot of my Lab/Plott hound mix Cesar,they have similar markings.I can see she's a sweet girl and will be a wonderful friend forever.
Wow she looks just like my dog Jenkins! He is a lab/pointer mix and has the same markings. He doesn't have the cute little freckles on his feet though. His ears are little floppier too. I have a big soft spot for cute little Tessie! Many happy years to you!

I see some border collie in her along with the lab. I had a dog very similar to her but border collie / husky and ears just like that & the same white chest. She will be the sweetest, gentlest dog you will ever know ! A long and happy life!

Tessie is so cute. I have a black lab. He's 13 1/2. He has brought me so much joy, but it saddens my heart that he probably won't be here much longer. He's gotten much slower and has hip displasia. I will cherish every moment he spent with me.
