Valentin's mom says: Valentin is a wonderful and happy little pup that has changed our lives. I can say he is a handful; he cannot be alone. But he is full of love and always in a good mood! He eats a lot of anything and everything he finds around. Everybody had told us beagles were not easy but he is a really good puppy, very trainable. Valentin is the best Christmas gift my husband could have ever given me. I am really in love!

Of course you're in love! Anyone who could look at that face and those eyes and not be in love has ice water in their veins! ...and those wonderful spots on his little tummy, the way he curls up when he's sleeping, that mouth ():), those feet....and those ears.....

Is Valentin cute or what? He's a beagle...of course he's cute! I've had dogs pretty much all my life, but I got my first beagles (littermate girls) almost 8 years ago. This is a wonderful breed. They can be stubborn and nosy and get into trouble for sure, but they are so lovable you just can't resist 'em.
I agree with allgodscritters, how could you look at that face, and seemingly knowing eyes, and not be moved. It looks as if he's planning something.
I have a soft spot for beagles, and this one captures the essence of a beaglepup. Love that freckled belly!

What a PERFECT little Beagle! He is so cute! I got a Beagle as my first dog and I have to say, they are a handful at first but they turn into the perfect little angels when trained right and you give them lots of love. Beagles are awesome! Enjoy yours to the fullest! He is beautiful!
beagles are a handful, but they will give you unconditional love for the duration of their lives. my beagle goober is so happy when i step in the door after a long day at work, and he give me a second wind.

I love the picture of him asleep in the sand. But BEWARE, the rawhide chew bones are very dangerous, my last dog chocked to death before we could get her to the vet, it was way down and we couldn't get it out.

He is so adorable. My husband got a Beagle puppy for our girls when they were 2 and 3 y/o, did not work out because they wanted to ruffle him so much. He finally got to the point that he would get in his crate for privacy but they would sneak up to his crate & try to liiterally pull him out. He got to the point that he would growl & try to bite them (all in self-defense, of course) but my husband finally said enough & found him a new home. The girls & I cried alot the day we took him to his new home but there were no toddlers about so it worked out well. The message, I guess is, not good for active, stubborn toddlers, but otherwise, wonderful!
I absolutely love beagles. Mine lived to be 16 years and 4 months. I hope Valentin gives you love an enjoyment for at least that many years!

What a cutie! He makes me miss my own beagle who crossed that Rainbow Bridge 2 years ago after a long (and quite spoiled) life. Beagles can be such clowns and an absolute joy. It's too bad they suffer from "nasally-induced" deafness - fellow beagle owners know [i]exactly[/i] what I mean!! Enjoy your new guy. He'll pay you back ten-fold with love!
Beagles are the best, this is my second Beagle and he is much different than my first, you never know what is around the corner with a Beagle.
Completely adorable and ALL beagle!! (I had a beagle growing up, so I have a special soft spot for them.) BTW (as I'm sure you know), beagles really will eat themselves to death, so don't be fooled by those big sad eyes . . . or, if Valentin, like my beagle, learns to suck his cheeks in in an effort to look as if he's starving!
Oh, and never call him "naugahyde nose" (not that you would). Beagles hate that! (My beagle preferred "olive nose.")

Even though I love my current fur-baby Spike to death, my first puppy was a little girl beagle named Snoopy, when I was little. We were inseparable, so beagles have always had a special place in my heart.

My girls and I talked my husband into getting a beagle five years ago. We never regretted it! I walk him 6 mornings a week in all kinds of weather. It has benefited both of us! Toby is the perfect dog for this family. Yes, he eats any thing and everything, watch it! He is an inside/outside dog. Valentin is a beautiful puppy, I think beage puppies are the cutetest puppies there are! I wouldn't have anything else!
