Winston the Wheaten Terrier
Winston's mom says: When we first met Winston, he was very bashful, wanting only to sit quietly in our laps while licking our fingers. He definitely put on a show to convince us to take him home. Now that he's gotten comfortable in his new home, Winston's true personality has come out. He loves to run crazy circles around the yard until he simply collapses from exhaustion. He also loves to meet new people and will absolutely refuse to continue on a walk unless every single person we see stops to pet him. Winston learned very quickly to sit for treats, but ever since he learned to shake, he gets confused and now sits with one paw in the air at all times. Winston\'s favorite things in the world are belly rubs and munching on ice cubes.
When you said that Winston is confused on the sit and give me your paw thing, with one paw up while he sits made me smile out loud. Winston is so cute and furry. hugs and kisses from mine to yours!

I had a Peke that loved ice cubes. He loved them soooo much that he would take them to different places and "hide" them and then, hours later, he would go nuts trying to figure out why he couldn't find them. Winston is adorable. Give him lots and lots of love and ice cubes.
Winston is very handsome. My dog thinks ice cubes are a treat!! It is nice for keeping the dogs slim and trim and no upset stomachs. Beware the water bowl baths...mine knocks over her bowl so she can lay in the water. The kitchen floor is always slippery. Enjoy your puppy.

Winston the Wheaten is adorable! Wheatens are the best, they know no strangers and are so loving and loyal. My Wheaten loves ice cubes too, she'll chase them around the floor then eat them.

Your baby is a sweetie! I have a Wheaten Terrier too. Her name is Emily-Anne and she did the samething Winston did when I first met her...when I got her home, it was something else! She was a hurricane waiting to happen!! The truth is, they are friendly, wonderful beings who fill their family's hearts with love and happiness and their antics only endear them to us more.

What a cute little fluffball! I laughed when I read he gets confused with sit and paw, my dog is the exact same. Whenever he's told to sit, he thinks that means paw as well, and won't sit without lifting his paw in the air.

Every wheaten I've ever known has been a gigantic baby. I hope you get used to carrying him like th is, you're still going to be doing it when he's fully grown! :D what a little cutie!

I don't think Winston could be any cuter if he tried! My dogs always have loved ice cubes too but we stopping handing them out after our youngest Boston Terrier cracked a molar and had to have it extracted, to the tune of $300. Ouch!I'm not sure if that's how she did it or if it was from a bone but both are off limits now. :(

I have a 5 year-old wheaten and let me tell you, Winston makes me want to have another puppy! What a cutie! Enjoy every minute of puppyhood - it goes by so fast (but wheaten puppy behavior stays in them for a loooong time!) Wait until he starts jumping vertically in the air giving everyone the "wheaten' greetin'"
This is a gorgeous pup. I love it when puppies play in the water. I hope ya'll have many laughs and many years with the precious gift you have received. I always have had a hard time picking a favorite picture as I love all puppies (they are all unique and beautiful in my eyes), but I never have a hard time praising the people who take the pictures.
