Yoshi's mom says: Yoshi is a Chinese Crested Powder Puff. He is now 7 months old and we adopted him after the passing of our dog Simba Jane (Chow/Husky mix). He immediately won our hearts the first time we seen him. Yoshi is a well behaved puppy, he already knows how to sit, lie down, shake and dance. He has an over abundance of energy, it's almost as if he has anti-gravity pads on his feet! He figures why walk when he can leap. He loves to chew bones and play with toys, his absolute favorite is actually his plastic pooper scooper. He carries it around constantly and goes so far as sleeping with it. We love Yoshi with all our hearts and he has been a great addition to our family.
Yoshi is such a cutie! I particularly loved this photo; it's like he's saying, "who, me?" A dog whose favorite toy is his pooper scooper must be special. All the best to you and your little charmer!
Yoshi, you are so cute! You actually remind me so much of my mutt Maurice who is turning 15 TODAY ! except that he has a black fur!
11 biscuits to you (and to Maurice :) )
Yoshi reminds me so much of our Rowdy. He was a great dog, but he was a dachsypoo (sp???). I sure miss him. I hope you have many years with Yoshi.
Oh my! Har har har har har.... :D - He's being his true puppy self here! Many kisses to this powder puff boy!
I've never heard of a powder puff but will now be looking out for them. Yoshi is BEAUTIFUL and excessively cute. He looks like my cavoodle though larger. The photos are fabulous- it's hard to pick a favourite.
OH MY GOD! my heart just melted... Was feeling really awful a while back, but Yoshi's pics just put a smile on my face as well as my heart!!!!
"Thank you, thank you, thank you--for rescuing me. Let's tell everybody to save one of my friends back there."
I sure am learning about many different dogs, that's the reason I love Daily Puppy. I start the day smiling, but today I am laughing my head off!!!! love his favorite play thing! Thanks for making my day! looks like he's looking for his favorite play thing in this picture. xxxooo
hey mom did you take my pooper scooper, I know I had it here :) Yoshi is so cute....many happy days togather and lots of biscuits and Big Belly rubs.
My Bruno use to hide like that in the car, he'd peak out when we were moving and then duck back down. Now, you can't keep him out of the vehicles. This Yoshi is a beautiful baby. A million kisses for him.
Hard to pick a favorite picture. He is just tooo cute!! I bet there is never a dull moment with this fellow around.
Hmmm....I thought Chinese Crested were those little gray hairless dogs with the poofy tail and poof of hair on top their head?
He's absolutely adorable. It was very difficult choosing a favorite. He really is just the cutest thing.
Yoshi you just made my morning with your over the top cuteness! It was really tough to choose a favorite pic - they are all great!! Scritches and cuddles to you!
HOORAY!!! At last a PP Chinese Crested! We "inherited" our PPCC from my niece after her divorce; forced to move, she couldn't keep him. Rey has been with us for seven years.
I don't know about the Hairless Cresteds, but every Powder Puff I've met has the same exuberant, joyful, fun-loving personality. They are absolute lovebugs! Congratulations on your lovely addition to the family - the fun is just beginning! ;)
Yoshi, by goshi, you are absolutely scrumptious! What a silly, lovable look on your face.....lots of love and fun to you and your pooper scooper! xoxox 11 biscuits to u!
I am Yoshi's aunt Karen & he really is just the cutest puppy ever! He is such a good and happy dog! He's extremely well loved by his mom & dad. Our family is planning a Florida vacation this summer & renting a house right on the beach and Yoshi will be there too. Can't you all just picture him playing in the surf & rolling in the sand?!! Mom & dad should send in those pictures too when we get back!!
Oh my goodness what a lovley fur ball he is. He looks like he keeps you busy I gave you 11 treats. Cause you are so cuddly.
OMG!!! Yoshi, you brightened my icy, grey, cold morning. You are too, too cute for words. Best wishes to you and your family for a long and happy life together .
OOPS! I wanted to add my favorite pic, although it was very hard to choose. they are all soooooooo cute!!!
Once again.....so many cute picutures, how do you expect anyone to pick a favorite??? :) Yoshi is too cute!!!! What a darling guy! He does resemble a Lhasa Apso in color and fur!!! I have never heard of the breed but such a cute!!!:)
Our three dogs enjoy sleeping in our king sized bed too. They are so loved(spoiled). As Yoshi is. What a sweetheart he looks like. Enjoy life together and remember life is about having some fun now and then.
Yoshi is my favorite mario cart character. Hi Matthew :-) I wish you were here...but I'm getting a lot done. See ya lata aligataaa.
OMG he looks SOO much like my little yoshi, who died about 8 months ago. I want to come kidnap your dog!!! He is wonderful! May you have many many many long and wonderful years with him!
What a cutie! He makes my heart melt. I love how fluffy he looks....just like a stuffed animal. I love how puppies love to sleep in weird positions and cramped places. This picture is too funny!!!!
yoshi is so cute and fluffy and soft. want to hug him. your pics are great, the one with the tail is so funny its hard to pick one. enjoy yoshi who i'm sure will bring you much happiness
What a cute little button nosed dog! He looks soft and sweet! I don't know about the pooper-scooper ;o)!!!! Many love and hundreds of kisses for you and your precious baby!
What an absolute doll!!!! I really like this breed, but in my area would not own the hairless as winter is just too cold here. The powderpuff on the other hand..... hmmmm. Yeah, I could see one of these stealing my heart! Enjoy him to the fullest!
How can this dog have any Chinese Crested in him? He is way too cute and furry. Well, regardless of his breed, he looks like a total cuddler. Many biscuits and belly rubs to Yoshi!
OH MY, what a DOLL Yoshi is... He is soooo cute... :) I love the pic where he is snooping in the basket ;) 11 billion biscuits for Yoshi.. xxxooo
This picture lets you know that Yoshi knows how CUTE he is and that you can't get enough of him. Neither can I. Many blessings on the family.
I've never met a powder puff crestie, but I've met several of the hairless variety, and they are personality plus, every one of them. So I'm sure Yoshi is just as magnetic. Many years of happiness with this little love, and looking forward to the summer at the beach pics!
Never heard of this breed. Adorable. Love the little smile in this picture. He has a wonderful personality, it seems, from your photos. How lucky you are!
Cuter than a cream puff - Yoshi come out of that screen and sit on my desk. Your are as soft as a ray of sunshine.
Enjoy your little darling.
"Come on mom, enough already..."
Yoshi is so cute. He has the face of my sheep dog mutt that I had growing up. Enjoy him!
I almost didn't scroll down for the rest of the pics when I saw this was a Chinese Crested, expecting the hairless kind. Then I saw the fuzzy little face and am so glad I was exposed to this breed I had never heard of. What a beautiful baby, such an expressive face and so hard to pick a fav photo. He is way too cute for our own good!
Never in my life have I logged onto this site and thought "I WANT ONE!"......until today.
Dang he's cute.
I had to really look the pix over to finally choose just one. I picked this one because it looks like his little face is all scrunched up in the bed like he's saying, no....don't take a picture now, my hair's not even combed. And he has a tiny bit of tongue out. But you can still see his darling licorace lips. Man, this boy is almost too cute to stand. Many long years of puppy love affair for you and Yoshi.
What a fabulous pup! He so made my day! This photo made me laugh out loud. Happy wags to you and Yoshi.
Yoshi is so adorable, cute, and I want a Yoshi!! You are so blessed to have Yoshi...Yoshi just seems to be happy..to look at Yoshi you feel happy! God Bless you all with love, health, and happiness.
What a sweet face! Love the breed--I'd never heard of this before. He is a love--I'm glad you found an adorable new companion to help you deal with the loss of your other baby. I'm sure Simba Jane approves.
Lots of happy healthy years together.
Yoshi
I have never heard of your breed but I am glad that you made the introductions. You are beyond adorable. what a charachter you are. I LOVE this picture, it looks like someone told you a funny joke. I have to say you might just be my favorite ever so far. If you were a human you would be the type of person everyone wants to be around. Your face just explodes with personality and sweetness. I wish I could meet you. Anyway, endless treats for you my friend. May God Bless you.
What a beautiful boy! He has such a sweet face. I wish you many years of love and happiness with this precious little creature.
I've never heard of this breed before, but I have to say this is one of the most adorable puppies I've ever seen. Love the one with the eyes barely opened and the tongue hanging out!
For the confused folks, Chinese Crested dogs come in the hairless and powder puff varieties. Personally, I find them both adorable and this little one is exceptionally cute and looks full of happiness and personality. :)
I've never heard of this breed before, but I have to say this is one of the most adorable puppies I've ever seen. Such a cute face, great coat, the total package! Love the one with the eyes barely opened and the tongue hanging out!
All the pictures were so cute, but his hind end hanging out of the hamper made me laugh! Yoshi seems to be quite a dog! And a true and loyal friend that looks for the inner beauty, this is PROVED by his choice of favorite toy! We see a pooper scooper...he see's it's real beauty...a trusty companion, who is loads of fun! Does it smell bad? Maybe...but nobody's perfect! What a great dog!
No offense is intended with this adorable dog, but I strongly doubt he has any Chinese Crestesd in him at all.
AWWWW!!! What a fluffy boy!!! :D Too cute!! I've never heard of this breed before. He looks so cuddly!!!!
Yoshi is just super cute, he could totally carry a sitcom all on his own, I know I would watch the Adventures of Yoshi!
Yoshi is the winner of the year!! I want one just like him! A million smiles, hugs and bones!!! Does he shed?
Our world would be a much happier place if everyone had a love like this in their life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
little one: you look like such a sweetheart! hopefully i'll be able to adopt a puff ball like yourself sometime soon:)
Awwww, i love him! hes so cute and i love his fur. this picture is just so cute too. if he ever comes out of there im sure hes really fun to pet! enjoy your little fuzz ball yoshi!
I have a Chinese Crested Powderpuff female! I have to say that your puppy is adorable, but I think you will be amazed if you take him to a groomer. If you haven't been informed yet, the Chinese Cresteds have hair, not fur, and it must be cut and groomed unlike regular dogs. You'll find that his hair will be much more manageable once cut, too, as Powderpuffs get mats real easily when the hair is long. May I suggest that you go to a groomer and ask for a "puppy cut?" You will be amazed at the cuteness.
What can I say?! Yoshi is and absolute doll! I love his nose! Many, many biscuits, and belly rubs for Yoshi!!
u know -- i thought i knew my dogs but this is def. a breed new to me! but the little guy is seriously C-U-T-E! Hard to choose a fav pic but I think the first one is great coz it makes Yoshi look like a fraggle - and the button eyes, pudgy wet nose and pink tongue all just scream HUG ME NOW! :) I wish u many happy years with your fur baby.
Awww how cute!!! iv always wanted one like that! they are soooo cute. I hope u hace many happy years with ur adorable baby.
I never knew Chinese Crested could come with hair! I'm so glad this puppy was featured today - he's VERY CUTE! He looks so happy and soft.
Really cute dog. Head shape all wrong for chinese crested though, and in checking my gut I was surprised to see that powderpuffs CAN BE just as fluffy as your cutie there. So, even though I'm familiar with the breed I learned something new today. Reference site: http://puppydogweb.< /a> com/caninebreeds /chncrested.htm
I'm thinking he's a wonder-mutt like all my pups! .. and there is nothin' wrong with that at all.
YOSHI!!!! OK, I need to look into this breed when I'm ready to get another dog. What an absolutely huggable baby! Yoshi looks very happy indeed. Such beautiful eyes with a wonderful mischievious sparkle to them. His fur looks very soft and fine. Very very cute - thanks for sharing the wonderful photos of Yoshi with everyone! All the best and many years of happiness, health and love!
HE IS SOOOOOO CUTE!!! I LOVE HIM HE LOOKS LIKE OSCAR (MY PUPPY) ECCEPT IN WHITEY-BEIGE!! I LOVE HIM!! I have never heard of a chinee crested powder-puff, but they are definately a breed to consider getting. he looks so happy!! Yoshi has gone to a loving, happy home, and he is lucky to have such nice parents.
Wishing you many years of happiness and love, Charlie xox
"oh shoot shoot.....i don't want another shot! If I hide under here maybe they'll forget i'm in here"
Oh yoshi....you are so cute!!!!!!!!! :-) I hope you have a long healthy fun life....and a million doggie treats to you too!!!
Do you love puppies cause i do. do you have any pets? I do. If so, what? I have a dog, 2 guinea pigs and a bird.
This picture brought a big smile to my face. What a sweetheart Yoshi looks to be. Hugs, kisses and 11 biscuits from Kansas USA.
The only part of the dog that looks like a Chinese Crested is the long skinny tale. I just saw the Westminster Dog Show on television, and they only had the hairless breed on. Is not the powder puff recognized?
Anyway, they should be. They are so much cuter and better looking. He is such an adorable puppy. So cute.
I have a puppy that is 7 months old too. His name is Benji. He looks just like Yoshi. I was told the breed for my dog is a Cav-A-Malt. Check it out online. Doesn't really matter, they are adorable and have the greatest personality. Give lots of hugs and kisses to Yoshi for me and tell him that his look-a-like Benji says hi.
What an angel!!!
