Zeus lives with his twin brother, Thor. Zeus loves to get his picture taken. They are from Arkansas and rule the house. Zeus loves to roam and is very friendly. He goes to visit all the neighbors even though Mom wants him to stay home.
Dachshunds are fab little dogs, so much character and Zeus doesn't sound any different! Great names by the way, most Dachshunds probably think they are Gods anyway! :D

Well Zeus is VERY dignified, as befits his godly name. It's just that the thought of a dignified Dachshund gives me the giggles! Zeus and Thor are a wonderful pair, and I wish you many happy years together!

Visiting the neighbors when you want him to stay home sounds very familiar. That is EXACTLY how our (male) dachshund used to be. He made a lot of friends though. The pups are adorable.

We have had 6 Dachshunds over the years and they have 'ruled the roost.' They are fierce protectors, yet loveable and cuddly. Zeus has a sly smile on his face and I can just hear him thinkin' - "Don't mess with me."

Dachshunds are one of my favorite breeds, and Zeus & Thor (great names!) are two very handsome examples! I can tell that Zeus loves to have his picture taken, because he is posed so beautifully in each shot! He and Thor are both gorgeous!
Oh doxies my absolute favorite. I have a female pure bread and a male doxie mix. They like all doxies of course rule the house. I love this picture because you can see he has brown behind his ears. I love the little special touches each dog has to make them different. Zeus you and your brother are to cute for words.

They are so cute. I bet they're a handful, too. They remind me of my 2 Rottie mixes with the markings they have. The next time we get dogs they're going to be little ones, but thats a long time from now, we hope.

Double trouble. I have a Red SM. I have to comment. Please don't let your babies roam free. They could be stolen, hit by a car, eat something they shouldn't. Please walk them on a leash. I would hate to see something tragic happen.

Zeus and Thor are both beautiful! My first dog, 49 years ago, was a black and tan dachshund named Thor. Although I presently have a beloved German Shepherd, my favourite small dog is definitely the dachshund, although I love all dogs. I love this picture!.
