ADORABLE!! =) You're very lucky to have her.

Feb 15, 2008 IDdoghouse

Such a noble face. We have a Pit-Rot mix with a lot of the same habits - good and bad! So glad you adopted! Enjoy your years together!!

Feb 15, 2008 MiniClover

What an adorable puppy! She looks like the sweetest thing on the planet :3

Feb 15, 2008 inmemoryofshelby

What a big ole baby she is. I had a pit/lab mix years ago. I still miss her. I can just see the mischievious oozing out of her.

She looks like a precious girl. Hugs and kisses from mine to yours

Feb 15, 2008 maddie's mom

Feb 15, 2008 kool_kat_3

I'm sorry but I think Zhalla should be removed from this website immediatly! She is way too pretty and cute and all the other puppyies will be jelous! Teehee I hope you share many happy times together! lots of puppy hugs and treats xxxx

Feb 15, 2008 llt214

You are describing our year-old lab mix to a tee!!! I think we have the same dog! Zhalla is gorgeous! Ilove pitties...and labs!!! Enjoy this lovely girl and give her a huge smooch for me!

Feb 15, 2008 whoopiwho

She is pretty!! Love her ears!!

Feb 15, 2008 doggieaunt

What a pretty name . . . what a pretty girl!! And so silly, too! Lots of biscuits and scritches for Zhalla!

Feb 15, 2008 sue

shes soooo cute

Feb 15, 2008 Terry C

What lovely eyes.......and that gleaming black coat.

She is a gorgeous puppy!

Feb 15, 2008 Brunomom

This picture is very cute and brings back memories for me, when we had a recliner and one of our Babies slept up top and one of the others below. Zhalla is a beautiful girl, and I love her puppy tummy. Many years of happiness w/her.

Feb 15, 2008 postiemayer

Oh my gosh, what a sweetheart and loved the description of her personality, I almost didn't pick a fav photo because they are all so darn cute, but then I saw this one with the stick and it makes her look like she has a smirk on her face and saying, just wait till they see what piece of furniture I just chewed up this time! Many happy years with this baby and bless you for giving her what is obviously a good and loving home.

Feb 15, 2008 djmc

What a prtty girl ,I love her face sooooooo sweet . Lots of hugs and doggie kisses . Enjoy your new baby 11 biscuits

Feb 15, 2008 Daa_of_Night

Looks like a dog living around the corner from me, also a pit/lab. Very sweet, but VERY loyal to her family. Trespassers WILL lose body parts. I'm taking care of one of her grandpups, and she has the same personality. I feel so well protected, especially when she's sleeping with her chin across my ear.
Speaking of ears, don't you just love the bat-wing appearance of your baby's ears?? I sure do!

Feb 15, 2008 suelill

Zhalla you are so beautiful and dignified. You have a lovely coat and look like fun but a little sad at times. Lots of hugs and cuddles. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Feb 15, 2008 yujismom

zhalla is so elegant...thanks for adopting this beauty!

Feb 15, 2008 Maywee

What a beauty!! God Bless you for adopting her...many many years of slurpy kisses!!!

Great pictures and great description. She is beautiful and interesting looking!! Thanks for rescuing her. Dogs are THE BEST!
Enjoy!

Feb 15, 2008 panda

Definately one of the cutest babies I have seen on this site! Many loving years to Zhalla and her family! XOX

Feb 15, 2008 marleysmom

What a little sweetheart - she is very cute and she looks so regal! 11+++ biscuits! P.S. Pitt Bulls, like all dogs, are only as good or bad as their parents/owners. Thanks for adopting this precious one!

Feb 15, 2008 juliefulmer

What a cutie! Can tell she found a happy home. I love all the pictures.

Feb 15, 2008 pixiegirrl

Is there anything better than a pink doggy belly? 11 biscuits and a big round of applause for saving a life.

Feb 15, 2008 DogMom

Beautiful and goofy all in one package -- looks your Zee's owner hit the jackpot with this precious girl!!!!! Her photos have made my day. Thank you for sharing her with us.

Feb 15, 2008 jimandtrishp

Sweet!

Feb 15, 2008 GSD Mom

Dear Zhalla's Mom, LOVE your story! (Very well written, too!) Congratulations on rescuing such a wonderful & wonderfully mischievous girl. May your family have a very long & happy life together!

I definitely concur -- no "bad dogs" or "bad breeds," ONLY BAD OWNERS!!!

P.S. / I couldn't give biscuits. When I opened the page, it already said "Thanks for the biscuits" !!! But Zhalla deserves a million!

Feb 15, 2008 Wellie'sMum

COUld she be more cute??
You can tell, just by her expressions that she's a smart girl, and I bet loads of fun!!
Wishing you many, many years of joy with her!

Feb 15, 2008 mosbarger

11+++++ biscuits to Zhalla!!!!!!!! I am a pitbull lover- I have an 11 year old male, who is the sweetest dog ever. I have never seen a pit/lab mix before...she's is beautiful!!!!

Feb 15, 2008 stormsamson

She's a cutie, NOW! Thank you for adopting her and giving her a very patient and loving home! You will be rewarded with tons of puppy love (which is the best love in the world), and companionship (the best)! God Bless you and many years of good health and lovins to you and Zhalla!

Feb 15, 2008 randomearrings

Awwwww... look at those big puppy paws! Zhalla is beautiful. 11+++ biscuits xxx

Feb 15, 2008 kphg

All the photos were SO cute! I love her shiny, sleek coat, bat ears, and innocent expression:)

Feb 15, 2008 pauz4paws

Zhalla, you're beautiful! Hard to pick a fav pix, I chose this one because she reminds me so much of my Brindy Lou who passed away a few years ago. I used to tell her she had a head like a cobra. (hah) I do suggest you train her to release her jaws on command.....trust me, it would prove invaluable in a bad situation.....those jaws are like steel traps. I applaud you for rescuing this sweetheart.....live long and happy beautiful Zhalla. 11 biscuits for you to devour! xoxo

Feb 15, 2008 ceallaig

The whole pushing the envelope behavior-wise is the lab in her -- she'll grow out of it eventually (though you'll be tempted to kill her many times before then). Zhalla is a wonderful name, very exotic, where does it comes from? Bless you for taking her into your loving home -- I know several full and part pits and they are the best and sweetest natured dogs in the world. Tell her to keep on being a good ambassador, and enjoy her high energy for many years to come!

Feb 15, 2008 werleybird

Zhalla is absolutely gorgeous!!! Our last dog was a lab mix & you described a lot of his traits when you described Zhalla's. We really miss him. I just love her paws, she's going to grow into a big, beautiful girl. Enjoy all your years with Zhalla & give her lots of kisses on that cute nose.

Feb 15, 2008 puppylove23

I'm scared of pitbulls... But this mix looks very nice to me...

Feb 15, 2008 clemency

I chose this picture because Zhalla's poodle friend looks so much like my 16-year-old poodle, Zoe (when she has long hair)! But all the pictures were great--Zhalla is so pretty, and I love her big paws and sweet face!

Feb 15, 2008 aden1994

she is very cute. she seems like such a loving dog too!

Feb 15, 2008 nancy814

Zhalla is just beautiful. Love all the pics. what a cutie. 11+ biscuits for this girl.

Feb 15, 2008 littlemeshe

Enjoy your Pit mix she will be the best dog you ever had I guarantee. I have a full bred Pit and she has be the best do i've ever had by far. Just a tip, the nylabones and the natural filled bones (really hard white ones) filled with cheese meat or PB flavor are the longest lasting toys for Pits they can withstand their strong jaws.

Feb 15, 2008 LabMommy

Don't hate me cause I'm beautiful...

Feb 15, 2008 usfour

Two little dolls on a bunkbed - what a darling pair. Great pictures and great story. Enjoy your babies.

Feb 15, 2008 denawolves

Zhalla is a sweetie- nothing to be scared of unless you're not HER family! That's the great thing about these dogs- they're the most loyal dogs ever. She reminds me of my dog Ozzie, who was mixed w/ who knows what but looked just like your Zhalla, and he was the sweetest, silliest, fastest, strongest, bestest dog ever! I think pit bulls/mixes totally rock!

Feb 15, 2008 2pups1kit

A darling baby! Her black shiny fur reminds me of my Black Lab Sharah, of blessed memory. This photo of Zhalla asleep with her big puppy paws extended out was too adorable, I had to choose it! Thank you for saving her, as I know shelters are very full with pits & pit crosses & they are less likely to find homes than other dogs...Enjoy her & love her for many years, in good health.

Feb 15, 2008 LoveYourPet

I just want to tickle those feet! Soo cute! There is nothing better than getting pitty kisses. Love her until it hurts!

Feb 15, 2008 Aoife364

Thank you to you AND to the Montgomery County Humane Society for giving this beautiful pit mix baby a chance at a long, happy life rather than writing her off as a "dangerous" breed like so many animal groups and people tend to do these days. I agree with the other comments: There are no bad dogs, just bad owners. Zhalla obviously is in a loving home with experienced dog owners who have helped her to become the most wonderful puppy she can be. I know all of you will be happy together for many years to come.

Feb 15, 2008 j000wxe

Is she spoiled or WHAT!

Feb 15, 2008 vschermerhorn

She is beautiful!

Feb 15, 2008 katetrav

She is a beautiful dog. She is going to be a head turner. Sounds like she is/will be a handful, but definitely worth all the effort. I learned with my pup, no matter how angry I got I would rather give loose my shoes, socks, furniture, clothes, important bills CDs, etc then give up her

Feb 15, 2008 Mummm

What a cutie! Perhaps she would be a good candidate for some professional training?

Feb 15, 2008 sylvanbliss

Could Zhalla look more comfortable? I'm happy for her!

Feb 15, 2008 Jenkins5

My lab mix sits the same way and it cracks me up every time! Adorable!

Feb 15, 2008 Dante-fan girl

Oh it is soooo cute!!!!!

Feb 15, 2008 jrterriermom

Such a sweetheart!

Feb 15, 2008 godrulz

I call dibs on blowing tummy raspberries!

Feb 15, 2008 sugarplum1978

Wow! I think she looks more like a pit then a lab, I myself have a black pit( full breed) And people often ask me if she is a lab, however the only thing labish about her is her color. I always wanted to know what this mix would look like. She is beautiful and you will enjoy a lifetime friendship!! ADORABLE!!! I love the snow picture!!!

Feb 15, 2008 daria

I think she looks regal in this picture. She is a real beauty, and thank you for helping to spread the word about wonderful pit bulls. Give her a belly rub from me. I hope you have a very happy life together.

Feb 15, 2008 lushpuppy

Wow, I wish I could put a picture up of my Pitlet, (Stormee) They could be twins, except mines five yrs old now, but still has that sweet puppy face just like Zhalla! Lot's of fun and mischief galore, haha!

Feb 15, 2008 pitmom

She's beautiful! Thank you for adopting and especially adopting a pit mix. We need to spread the word that these are wonderful, loving dogs. She looks just like my Daisy. Give her a big pooch smooch for me!

Feb 15, 2008 kukie

waattt a cutie...i want one too!!! pitties are the best companions, nevermind how smart she looks!

Feb 15, 2008 chipsmom

Great Pics!! 11+++++++ Biscuits! She is adorable. I had a Pit/Lab mix and she was a great dog. Lots of happy years together!

Feb 15, 2008 LucyBee

I also have a Lab mix who likes to spoon in the bed.Sooo nice on these cold winter nights! You have a beautiful sweet baby here.Glad you gave her the loving home she deserves.

Feb 15, 2008 LisaLisa

Oooooooooh, very, very sweet! All the pics of Zhalla are great! She's a precious little girl and so lucky she was rescued and brought into a great home! Lots of biscuits and love to her!

Feb 15, 2008 animalqn

Love it, love it, love it! Your delicious doggy is just as wonderful and sweet as she can be. May she be the ambassador we dog lovers need to show the rest of the world that it's not a breed that is harmful, it's the owners who TRAIN the dog to be that way.

Feb 15, 2008 lucyny2000

Gorgeous Zhalla! This picture made me laugh! Her positionins are so cute! Also the one where she sleeps with her paws all forward. God Bless You all with many years of happy togetherness!

Feb 15, 2008 Alf

You have two beautiful children. Sharing is so important & this picture is perfect. I wish your family love & many boxes of biscuits.

Feb 15, 2008 carmelvizsla

what a cutie. you are so lucky.

Feb 15, 2008 liz

So pretty. I love her. She looks exactly like my old girl (all pit) in this one and the bottom one. Gotta love Plabs! (Pit/Labs)

Feb 15, 2008 cperk224

Zhalla is beautiful! You can see that she is very smart!

Feb 15, 2008 Aussiesrule

Beautiful girl! She looks very healthy and super smart. I'm sure she needs to be kept busy... Hope you do obedience with her. Thank you for choosing to adopt. May Zhalla and your family have a very happy life together!
I love this picture. The tone is lovely with the soft white background and Zhalla looks so content. Desires a frame!
"No "bad dogs" or "bad breeds," ONLY BAD OWNERS!!!"

Feb 15, 2008 PixieGal262

Gosh she's a beautiful girl. Her eyes are incredibly expressive and she has gorgeous fur; you can tell you take extremely good care of her. She seems so mischievious and sweet and goofy all in one. I'm glad you adopted this wonderful puppy and gave her a happy, healthy future :)

Feb 15, 2008 PixieGal262

And I must add: floppy ears, pink puppy belly, giant paws and puppy butt all in one post. I think I almost died of cuteness overload

Feb 15, 2008 CBinID

What a charmer--I absolutely love those tipped ear tips.

Be sure to take her to kindergarden and maybe for a Canine Good Citizen testing. All Pit Bulls get lumped into the "bad dog" category, and clearly, she doesn't belong there. What an ambassador for the breed. And her shiney coat looks just perfect for petting.

You both are very lucky :)

Feb 15, 2008 mqm501

Great photos and Zhalla is an absolute delight.
Very Best Wishes from Spain.

Feb 15, 2008 nanism

You have an amazing looking little girl with a LOT of pit attributes. I thought our pit was the only one to drag his back legs to scratch his own belly. Give her a belly strach from me!!

Feb 15, 2008 honeypie

How adorable...just want to give her a smooch on her pretty lil head! God bless you for rescuing her. With your love and attention I bet she will be one of the best dogs you'll ever have! 11+++biscuits!

Feb 15, 2008 mamailsadago

I laughed so hard reading this! Change the name and the color and you've described our 2 year old Dani - AKA, "THE MOOSE". We tell people that she is cute as a but and dumb as a chicken but really she is smart enough to get into all kinds of trouble!

Your baby is gorgeous!

Feb 15, 2008 jaccikay

God Bless you for adopting Zhalla from the humane society and making your home, her home. It sounds like obedience training would be a great idea for Zhalla! She is absolutely adorable...In the years to come may God Bless you all with love, health, and happiness.

Feb 15, 2008 GreenWave

What a pretty girl! You can really see that pitbull forehead in this pic! I had a pit, and he was the love of my life!! They are such a maligned breed. He loved to chew leather watch bands and shoes. Try giving her a racket ball. It took him a while to break one of those down. Many happy years with your Zhalla!!!

Feb 15, 2008 cyndersmama

it was sooooo hard choosing just one picture, she is adorable in all of them. I chose this one because she looks like a wee hairy human laying there, so relaxed (for the moment!) I hope you have many happy years together. hundreds of biscuits, and belly rubs to this beautiful girl!

Feb 15, 2008 bulldogmom

Zhalla: "Mom, does this face look like I would do anything wrong? I am a perfect angel that does no wrong!"

I think she is beautiful and bless you for rescuing her!!!

Feb 15, 2008 Catlover

She is such a pretty baby! Such an expressive face.

Feb 15, 2008 bopeep

Zhalla may be hyper, but she looks so relaxed in all of the pictures - or is that pure contentment? Pretty girls. Hugs, kisses and 11 biscuits from Kansas USA.

Feb 15, 2008 shortysmom

Got to love the rescued dogs. What a beauty she is. Agreat embassador for the breed, or mix there of.

Feb 15, 2008 cierrablue

That muzzle is just aching to be kissed.

Feb 15, 2008 Puppyluver59

She sounds like a wild one, but in all her pictures she looks so relaxed. I can't say that i've ever heard of a pitbull/lab mix before, but maybe i'm just new to all this adorable puppy stuff. But either way, i think she is amazing. i really like this picture cuz it makes her look so distinguished. She's definitely a cutie! enjoy zhalla... she got a well-deserved 11 biscuits! ;)

Feb 15, 2008 snuggles19973

What a beauty you have. I want to Thank you also for rescuing her and giving her a loving home and family. She will return the love in so many ways. Huggs and Kisses to you Zhalla

Feb 15, 2008 Puppyluver59

:) :P :D

Feb 15, 2008 simrat101

nasty look at those legs but the dog is adorable

Feb 15, 2008 ellygh

What a gorgeous puppy Zhalla is! She has such wonderful features, i.e., eyes, head, ears, etc., etc. She looks and holds herself in such a proud stance. Just an all around beautiful girl. I'm so glad someone such as yourself, who obviously understands her and the bad rap her breed gets, was able to adopt her. I know without a doubt that Zhalla, you and the rest of your family -- both 2 and 4 legged -- will have a wonderful life together. Oh, and I chose this pic because I thought it showed just how proud and sure of herself Zhalla is!!

Feb 15, 2008 ellygh

Oops, although I love the pic I chose above, this is the one I was referring to. Again, she is such a beautiful girl.

Feb 15, 2008 ellygh

Darn, I did it again. Hopefully, the correct pic I chose will come through this time. If not, it's the last one -- the head shot. For some reason, although I'm clicking on the picture I want to choose, the wrong one keeps popping up.

Feb 15, 2008 ellygh

Well, the site isn't working, obviously. I'm bummed -- but you know the one I mean, right? lol ; -)

Feb 15, 2008 MSalamanca

What an adorable doggy!

Feb 15, 2008 tambore

You have a great combo with Zhalla..... lab and pit bull. She's looks like a charmer alright and when her puppy days are gone, they'll be some of the happiest memories and you'll wish she was that way again. Zhalla you are so happy to be in a good home at last...... don't push the envelope, but if you do, I'm here waiting!

Feb 15, 2008 katiecrow

Pit bulls as a group may get a bad rap. On the other hand, one killed his female owner the other day, in the house! I have never EVER heard of other breeds who would do that. Maybe your great puppy has a labrador disposition..after all labs are the favorite dog in the U.S. for good reason.

Feb 15, 2008 katiecrow

Feb 15, 2008 shanmac

Puppy paws! *Squee*! She is adorable! I also love the shot of her with snow on her nose. I've seen my golden retriever do that so many times. Too cute!

Thanks for adopting her!

Feb 15, 2008 k_cyn

Oh Zhalla you are the cutest dog ever!!!! I love you!!!!!!! You are soooo ADORABLE!!!! Being this cute should definitely be illegal!!!! :)
Many kisses, hugs and biscuits to you beautiful Zhalla!!! :)
You are PRECIOUS!!!!!!!!!

Feb 15, 2008 petluver

All the pictures are so great! It was hard to pick one, but this is just adorable! It is so great that she was rescued! She will give you many years, I can tell, of love and happiness! I believe animals that are rescued, have a way of knowing that they were(rescued). And they show their gratitued tenfold! I have rescued many animals, and they have always shown they are grateful. Kudos to you! Many kisses and belly rubs to Zhalla! Shelters are a great place to adopt a companion animal!

Feb 15, 2008 mling

Zhalla is a real beauty! Thank you for rescuing her and giving pit bulls a chance!

Feb 15, 2008 raerae

One MILLION biscuits!!!

You are probably my favorite puppy I have seen on here yet!

Feb 15, 2008 mash18020

"HEY!!!!!!!! can't a girl get some privacy here!!! "

Zhalla, you are beautiful!!!! Watch ya don't get frostbite on ur nose though!! :-) I hope you have a long fun healthy life....and a million doggie treats to u too!

Feb 15, 2008 supergirl76

Oh my, what an adorable little girl! She looks JUST LIKE my dog, who was also a rescue; we're told he's a pit bull/mix, and while the "mix" is unknown, boxer is what was speculated by the shelter. We adopted our boy when he was about 1 1/2 years old and for the last 2 years we've wondered what he looked like as a puppy. Well, looking at Zhalla is like seeing my dog as a puppy. I hope you and she have many, many happy years together!

Feb 15, 2008 FDonald

Many fantastic pictures here. Love the one with three paws and a nose! Be cautious about her behavior - which is so cute while she is still a dog-child. As she teens-out, she may start running the show. Read Jan Fennel and Cesar Millan. Keep your little darling a darling for the long haul.

PS/ my dogs are insane chewers and the best toy I've discovered is the black KONG. Virtually indestructible, and you can fill it with treats. It bounces erratically and makes for wonderful fun.

Feb 16, 2008 chicolasa

Oh my goodness, what a beautiful and shiney puppy dog and great photos! Thanks for sharing your darling Zhalla and for putting in a good word for Pit Bulls. They are as good as their 'owners' and better than many!

Feb 16, 2008 <
