Charlie the Golden Retriever
I am a very good boy, says my Mom and Dad. My favorite things in the world are my friend Mouse (but she's bigger than a mouse ... she's a dog!), my mom and dad's socks, and walks down by the river. Every day when I get home from puppy day care (with Mouse), I make sure to grab as many toys and socks in my mouth as I can at once to greet my mama. We spend most of our nights and weekends hiking in the forest or camping by the lake. Life as a puppy is pretty sweet!
Oh yes, Charlie! Do I know about muddy paws?! But with that face and those eyes--meltdown! However, you are the most beguiling, beautiful young man I've seen in a long time. And owner--you are so luck! Enjoy one another as you do!
I wonder who is the higher species? I KNOW who is the best looking! Thanks for sharing with us, Charlie. Take care of your humans and have a long and wonderful life together.
Oh Charlie baby here I go again - I'm totally & utterly in love with u. What a darling dog. Why oh why haven't u got 11 biscuits - what strange people there are out there. Lots of biscuits, cuddles & hugs sweetheart & the longest, happiest life.
I haven't commented for a while but I have to for Charlie as he is an absolutely adorable little guy. Love him.

Gorgeous puppy but please keep the socks away from him. My friends Golden Retriever died from swallowing a sock and it got stuck and twisted in his stomach.

Flying ears, snow on the nose, an ice cream cone bone . . . there are waaay too many adorable pictures from which to choose! However, I think "muddy paws" is the winner; Charlie's look of slight chagrin is priceless. In fact, Charlie is pretty much priceless in general -- that's one incredibly cute puppy! Thanks for letting us watch Charlie grow up a little in the photos; I look forward to his return as a grown-up puppy (as I suspect he'll actually be more of a "perpetual puppy").

Charlie obviously likes the mud like my dog. Mine is a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, but we used to have a Golden Retreiver too. They are realy cute and fun to play with.

You made me laugh with your greeting antics because I am the Mom of a very special Golden Retriever named Sadie, and she has greeted us with a mouth FULL of socks and toys since she was 7 wks. old, (she is now 3 yrs. old and still does!). Have a long and happy life with your humans Charlie, they are very lucky to have a fur baby like you!
