Simon the Dalmatian
As an avid dog lover, I had been wanting a puppy for a long time but my fiance was on the fence about it. Finally he said that he really liked Dalmatians so I did lots and lots of research to make sure we would be prepared. I fell in love with Simon right away and signed my heart over along with my money. His first couple of days were tough but you would never know by the way he runs the house now! Simon loves people and is very smart. He was housebroken after the first week we had him and has already mastered several commands.

I had a wonderful, loving Dalmatian for thirteen years. Her name was M'Lady, and she was. Fiercely defensive of her family, she was very intelligent and sweet toward us all and toward all children, known and unknown. She was so quiet with little ones. I can still see her now as a little one petted her... I still miss her so, and she's been gone nearly seven years. I pray Simon is as good and faithful as was M'Lady. If so, then you will have a wonderful dog, along with countless, treasured memories. God bless you, Simon, with a long, happy and healthy life.

I had a Dalmatian years ago--she used to lie on her tummy like this, with her legs stretched out. She was a wonderful dog--very protective of her family, great watchdog, smart as a whip. Tons of biscuits to Simon!

I have a Dalmatian too! You can look her up under Kylie or you can click on my name :) I'm so glad you said you did your research on them! There are a lot of people who just buy them and then don't do their homework and they end up with a dog they don't know how to deal with. Kylie was potty trained within a week as well, and also had a few tricks up her sleeve :) They're just very smart dogs. Man I wish you lived near me! Kylie has never met another Dalmatian other than her brothers and sisters. Your little Simon is absolutely adorable! And not only that, he's show quality too. So I can definitely believe when you say you signed over your money and your heart! I got lucky that I didn't have to pay for a show quality pup, Kylie was home-quality :P So, she was about $1000 less. Well, I hope you have a lot of fun with him! Don't be surprised when he's older that all he wants to do is be with you and follow you around. Make sure he eats the best dog food possible and NO Beef! That's my main worry that Kylie will get those urinary stones...

Dalmatians are beautiful dogs. And Simon is a perfect example of this. I have a liver spotted one at home. They are very much people dogs, and Simon will follow you around your home in adoration of you. I bet you Simon will watch TV when he is older. No I mean he will really Watch TV. Simon a long and happy life to you.
