Bernese the Saint Bernard
I graduated this May from Nursing School and decided I wanted a puppy for my graduation present to myself. I had always wanted a Saint Bernard and coincidently I looked in the newspaper and a local family had short hair Saint Bernard puppies for sale. It seemed to me it was meant to be. I went and looked at the two puppies left, a male and a female. I fell in love with this adorable little female who slept the entire hour and a half we were there. I would pick her up and she would continue sleeping. Once I decided on her she woke up almost instantly. She has been a lover since then. She loves having her belly rubbed, but her one true love is eating everything and anything in sight. She also enjoys her puppy kindergarten class, in which she is the biggest puppy. She loves to jump over all the little puppies. Bernese is quite the little puppy. I look forward to seeing just how big she gets!

ahh shes so cute, even tho the vet told us our puppy was jack x corgi we're waiting for the day for him 2 turn into a st bernard, he has some same looks like his floppy mouth and huuuuuge paws for his size. shes so cute :)

We had lots of dogs growing up, but the most memorable and lovable and fun dog was Ingrid, our Saint. Many happy years with Bernese. She is bound to bring much love, joy (and slobber) for years to come.

Choosing a favorite photo was a toss-up, but ultimately the flipped ear won me over. She is simply gorgeous. I used to live in a house that backed to a farm and the people who who lived there had two Saint Bernards. Whenever I was out working in the yard they would come to the fence and keep me company. They were the sweetest dogs--complete lovebunnies, and ever since then I have been completely in love with this breed. I am jealous, but very happy for you. May you and Bernese have many wonderful years together.
