Hi, I'm Daisy! My family rescued me from Alabama to come live with them in sunny Florida. We go on all sorts of adventures to the beach and park. My mommy and I are working hard on training every day. I hope to become an agility champ when I grow up!

What a lovely Queensland! I love the blue variety. I have a 9 year old red male that has just been the best and smartest little friend I have EVER had; and I have had a number of different dog breeds over the years. I have Daisy's picture up all day today! My Murphy likes it too! Many happy, busy, fun years for all of you! A million biscuits and tummy rubs for Daisy! She is a luv!

I read here that these dogs' names have been changed to "Australian Cattle Dogs". Not in Australia they're not. Your lovely girl is a "Blue Heeler", and a very nice one too. I come from cattle country in Aussie, and know these dogs well. You won't find a more faithful dog or intelligent dog or tireless worker anywhere. When she grows she could be a little nippy to children or smaller dogs - that's how they work the cattle, by nipping at their heels, and they can be a little haughty and "leave me alone small creature". I'm not being alarmist, just make sure you keep firm control on her - they have tough minds and souls. I wish your Daisy a long life with people who love her, she's a lucky girl. she is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cute and looks sooooo brave trusty too she enjoys beaches she likes beaches and loves walks and the fur uis the work of art dosent like sleepy stays up somtimes but it like relaxing and likes have fun plays with it owner in the water tuns of bicuits
Wow how pretty, this looks like my baby bear who I have had for 4 years now. These are the smartest and greatest dogs and they make good exercise partners. I love that she was rescued....good luck :)

Awesome picture. Was so nice to read from the chic in Australia. I am from Alabama (living in UK now) and had always heard them called blue heeler and the same when I moved to NC. I do not know when the name changed, but it doesn't matter. This breed, the Australian Shepherd (also not Australian) and the Border Collies are so clever and loving!Not to belittle ANY breed, just partial to my herding breed! She's a lucky dog - and most likely a cross between an ACD and something else, not that that will affect how much you love her. ACDs are called blue heelers, red heelers (for the red ones) and ACDs and most certainly do hail from Australia. It's the Australian Shepherds that were bred in the US. We have a blue heeler crossed with a border collie and a red heeler that is pure. They are both rescues, as was my first blue boy. They are great dogs, but too much for most people and so many end up in shelters. Good for you for rescuing her!
I rescued my Australian Cattle dog as well and she is the love of my life! Daisy is a real cutie and looks like a very happy dog! Congrats to you both!

ACDs totally rock! We had one for almost 13 years and she passed in October of last year. We just got another cowgirl in May and she's 19 weeks old now. Her name is Dora and I've just posted her pics on here. These dogs are the coolest dogs around! Great pics......Daisy is adorable!
