I don't know why but this pic of this ferocious little baby is hilarious and cute, like this is her "I'm a tough guy" pose. What a sweet little dog.

I am sure you have already done so but if not get her thrid eyelid check by your Vet. It looks like from the picture that she has cherry eye ( a prolapsed third eyelid gland), it's difficult to tell from a few pictures but worth having checked. It's nothing to worry about if you get it treated, if necessary a surgical procedure can be done to reposition the PTEG. I am sure your Vet will be able to advise the best course of action for Abbey.

YES, SHE NEEDS A VISIT TO THE VET. IT LOOKS AS THOUGH SHE MAY HAVE A BIT OF THE "CHERRY EYE" SYNDROME, WHICH IS EASILY REMEDIED. SHE IS A REAL SWEETHEART, OTHERWISE!!

Abbey is just adorable. Having known both breeds in person, our son has a pug and several friends have Jack Russells, you will have one very active little girl. What fun she will be, but she'll keep you busy ;-) !! Enjoy her and God bless your whole family for giving Abbey a home and tender care. Lots of belly rubs from me and kisses and runs in the yard from our critter gang!!! Best of luck with her eyes.

She is beautiful! And I'm unsure as to why people always have to add in their two cents about everyone's dog. I'm sure her mother takes care of Abbey and has taken her to the vet! This is not so much a discussion forum as a celebration of beautiful dogs with great owners!

A neighbor of mine has a Jug....black with a white blaze on the chest.

A friend of his had the doggy and his rotten landlord told him he had to get rid of her, Since the neighbor has six kids, he was glad to take the pup. The doggy is very, very happy with her new family,

Abbey is so pretty! She looks like she's smiling in this pic. We had our bestest Pug Mitzi for 13 yrs. and she was blind in one eye from birth [breeders were gonna put her down but agreed to let me take her so generously for $50], but she just followed her husband McGruff around & they did just fine. You guys are so lucky to have Abbey and whether her eyes clear up or not, as long as it doesn't hurt her, she'll still be adorable!

Cherry eye is nothing to worry about! It's purely cosmetic. My dog has cherry eye and it doesn't seem to bother her at all. You should take her to the vet though since she's so young. Cute pup either way!
