Abigail is a doll!! When my son moved into our basement suite, we sort of acquired a beagle named Chutney. I'm sure she has given me a few more grey hairs because she also does not like the word no...or the word come...or the word stay!! And she's the best escape artist I've ever seen!! But then she'll jump on my lap and put her paws on my shoulders like she's hugging me and lick me death and all is forgiven!! She is the most affectionate dog I've ever met. I hope you get as much joy with Abigail as we do with Chutney.

Beagles are real characters and a lot of fun to have around, but you will need a good sense of humor to live with a beagle. She is absolutely adorable! I get this expression a lot from my Beagle - "What?! I didn't do anything!" when he actually has. When we tell Hemi no, he doesn't bark at us - he decides suddenly that we need kisses and need to be loved on. He thinks it will keep him out of trouble.
