This is Addison, a female English Setter who is very playful and has a ton of energy. She loves to play with other dogs as well as hunt squirrels, rabbits and birds. Addison is almost two years old now but still has all the energy of a puppy. She is definitely my best buddy.

Emulating the love in those eyes would reduce any two-legged being to life-long medication. Hug her for us, and spoil her as much as you can.

English Setter will steal your heart. They are so loving and Addison looks like she will be your best friend for life. We had an English Setter along with Irish Setters since the 1960's. They are wonderful dogs.

Nothing wrong with her eyes. Her inner eye lid sometimes get red when she plays or runs around a lot.

What a cutie - my sister and I each had an english setter when we were younger; her boy was my boy's dad... they are loving, loyal and beautiful companions!
As an owner of 3 English Setters (the last 2 have been rescues), I can't say enough for the breed! If anybody knows of someone who once owned a female tri-colored field setter in Ontario, Canada, I believe they had named her Sasha), and gave her up to a kill shelter in early to mid 2006, I would love to say, "You don't know what you missed out on! She is one of the most affectionate dogs I have ever seen ... and such a bird dog! Too bad you didn't have the common sense NOT own a FIELD dog, especially an English Setter, and expect it to thrive in a city apartment dwelling!!" I apologize for sounding off. Their loss is my family's gain!!
