Archer IS precious and a very good dog. He's NO mangy mutt. He's a full blooded toy (teacup) poodle. The hateful things don't hurt us because we pay them no mind. We come here everyday to look at all the sweet puppies and it is just such an honor to see our's there. Thanks for all the wonderful comments and the other's, well, are simply uncalled for.

How could anyone think like that? Even if he wasn't my mom's puppy, I would still be tickled pink by his sweet little puppy face. Right now he is sitting in my mother's lap being a sweet little angel. It makes me happy to know he is that precious. And no one asked for your rude comments, please keep rude comments to yourself.

As Thumper from "Bambi" told us: if you can't say something nice, don't say nothing at all. I know a lot of people aren't particularly fond of some breeds, and you should keep those comments to yourself.

I think Archer's a cutie. I love the pics where he's all "messy" and furry!

The sweater pic is my absolute favorite, but the one of Archer running and jumping is a close second. He looks so cute and cuddly... like you could just pick him up and hold him close to your face, and inhale the sweet puppiness!
He's very lucky to have such an awesome family, and such a defensive sister! lol

I hope you have a HORRIBLE day. That was all UNCALLED for. This is a sweet puppy and I have been with him since before birth. He was in my doggies tummy, with his sister. And for those of you who have gracious and beautiful thoughts of Archer, may God BLESS YOU!!!

Michael, maybe its time to moderate these negative comments...its cruel and upsetting to read some of those posts. I envision a very immature person getting a kick out of the reactions. I think the best way to handle these idiots is just ignore them....no posts back....its just what they are looking for. There is enough negativity in this world floating around...lets not make more.

It's been a very busy day on here. Just so everyone knows, we are very appreciative of all the nice comments. We choose to ignore the bad ones. We don't dislike Chow's, we still think they are cute as can be just as we do all other living breathing creatures. It is just sad that someone chose to use a harmless dog as their vehicle for harmful comments. Archer is very important to us as are his sister and brothers. We know how special he is even if the rest of the world doesn't. We still love the daily puppy and will continue to come here and get our daily dose of puppy sweetness. Archer's social calendar remains full of puppy play dates so I don't think he will suffer any from the rudeness some people chose to show him. Archer sends lots of snuggles and kisses to all those who showed him such kindness. When he get's tucked in to go nite nite tonight, it will be the kind thoughts that he falls asleep with!!!!

To recap my thoughts about Archer: He is a sweet mini-marshmallow pup. I am imagining him floating in a cup of hot cocoa. So small and sweet!!! Those baby pics are amazingly cute. I would love to plant little kisses on his tiny face. Also, I would love to hold his little feeties gently between two fingers and giggle.

To Archer's Family: Thanks for sharing your jellybean-sized doggie with us! I am so happy to see poodle-lovin'! I adore poodles, and I am so glad to see poodles and their kin (including mixes) get their due. Hooray for sweet jellybean dogs!

Once again, allow me to explain this concept to those of you who don't seem to understand what free speech really is:

Freedom of speech means that saying a dog is ugly won't get you thrown into jail. It does not mean that this particular website must allow negative comments to stand. This is not a "free speech" environment. Similarly, you cannot walk into an elementary school and graffiti curse words onto the walls. Speech is protected, but each environment has its own set of rules, regulations, and restrictions. Once again, THIS SITE is a proprietary forum where MICHAEL has SOLE DISCRETION. It is up to him who can post and who cannot.

Also, if you are going to call yourself a protector of the 1st Amendment, you might want to spell "amendment" right. You also might want to learn something about the restrictions placed on the 1st amendment in the real world. You cannot walk up to your boss and tell him to shove it without suffering the consequences. Your speech might be free, but clearly, there are still consequences.

Learn something, people. Geez.

I've never seen a poodle in person but iw ouls like to. They are adorable especially archer! i can't believer shes less than 2 pounds! How much was she in the younger pictures of her a few ounces(i'm saying this in a good way i love when the puppies are so little!) xoxoxox

Real quick - 'cause I don't think those folks deserve any more of our time - there is soooo much space on the internet for people to vent their spleens, spew hatred, and say (quite constitutionally) whatever they please. But this is The Daily Puppy; I'm here to enjoy the puppies.

And what an incredibly enjoyable puppy!!! Oh Archer...c'mere poochie, c'mon! Come to Bunnie!! Dang...not even for 11 biscuits, huh? <sigh> I admit, I'm a poodle-lover anyway; I have a little white lady named Misty living with me. She's GIGANTIC compared to Archer, and she's just a miniature! My dream is to have (at least) one in every size! What wonderful, zestful, INTELLIGENT animals they are! My girl is a willful, disobedient, spoiled, bossy queen - and I wouldn't even trade her for Archer (no offense, Little Guy!). We have 3 dogs and 6 cats, tended by three human servants - and she is the Boss of Everyone! I'm so happy your boy has a nice pack to run with! Lucky, lucky you!!!

I think I'm glad I missed the nasty comments. Our sweet miniature pinscher just died. People would point at her and call her ugly. She had a heart of gold. We are now getting a puppy that is a miniature pinscher / teacup poodle hybrid. I loved looking at your sweetie's picture

I am the proud owner of two toy poodle puppies, thank you very much. Their names are Sugar and Cookie. What's weird is that my brother and I named them seperately - we didn't discuss it. Their names just came out to be Sugar Cookie. I'll post pictures of them when I figure out how (Michael, some help please). They'll beat all the other puppies hands down. (I'm biased.) I think so because everyone who has met my puppies screamed with delight and made high pitched cootchie cootchie coo noises. THEY HAVE NEVER BITTEN ANYONE. Cookie licks me like we're in a sauna and I'm the best tasting ice cream cone in the world. : ) : ) : )

My 'pack of 7' (including Mamma and Daddy) would love to meet Archer...he's so precious! Three of our 5 furry kids know that people can and will be mean, 2 were rescues, one was dropped off as a tiny puppy along with littermates & her birthmother. The other two were born in our house, their mama was a pregnant stray we took in. We have a comment for those who post rude messages: If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all!

It's strange that a breed can evoke so much emotion. I know people that either love poodles or hate them. But to make disparaging comments is sad. I think your puppy is adorable. My mother-in-law had a toy poodle. She past away in March and I took the dog, Queenie, for a short time. Everyone in the family hated the dog because of it temperment, but I loved that little dog. I had to find a home for her because we have three dogs and four was just too many. Poodles a ferociously loyal to their owners.

The 2nd to last picture of Archer running reminds me of Queenie and the picture in the sweater make Archer look like a Boyds Bear.......TOO CUTE!! 11 BISCUITS TO YOU.

I had a miniature black poodle growing up, and he was the Best. Poodles are known to be one of the (if not THE) smartest breeds. It seems they may be smarter than some people...

Sure, some puppies are cuter (to me!) than others. I prefer some breeds to others, too. But I would never post anything negative about anyone's pup. That's just so wrong.
