Arnie (Arnold Palmer) is a Great Pyrenees who lives with his parents in St. Louis. He came from a farm where his parents serve as guardians to a herd of goats. Arnie has a more leisurely lifestyle with his human parents in St. Louis. He loves to snuggle on the couch, watch TV (especially golf), go on hikes, and chew on deer antlers. He is always ready to put his head in your lap and have his belly rubbed. He has mastered the commands "sit" and "lay down", but as anyone who has owned a Pyr can tell you, he will have the final say in the matter. Arnie loves to spend sunny days outside digging in the mulch, patrolling the yard, and collecting rocks. He cannot resist getting his giant paws dirty. In the summertime, he is the first to jump in the pool to cool off, but his true love is a snowy winter. He loves to frolic in the snow for hours, burying his nose and eating mouthfuls of the fluffy white stuff. Arnie is truly at home in the snow. He has absolutely captured our hearts, as he does with everyone he meets. He never fails to catch the attention of passersby, and relishes in the attention they always offer. He loves to play with other dogs and is a true gentle giant with children. He is a wonderful companion, guardian, and friend, who is the very best part of our lives.
