it's great you picked a lab for your first dog, they are wonderful family pets and relatively easy to train. The yellows have to be the cutest color! Be warned they can get pretty big (I have a lab who is 120lbs and he is AKC papered and registered!)

Enjoy your adorable new family member - they grow up faster thant you realize!!

Balto is a sleepy boy. What an adorable animal. I don't know Italian, so I don't have an catch phrases, but whatever the Italian word for "perfect" is, Balto qualifies.

Where are 10000000 biscuits when you need them? Balto sorta reminds me of my dog, Delphi. Her best friend is a rubber bone which she is trying to destroy. Delphi is one spoiled pup. Oddly enough, she's a lab as well. Balto looks like he's just done something wrong in the first picture. He's got that "Oops" expression. What a cutie.
