Breed: Golden Retriever
Beatie was born on October 3, 2008. She and her brother were the only two pups in the litter. When we went to see the breeder, Beatie was only five weeks old. She kinda picked us, as she walked over and plopped herself on my lap. My partner and I spent time with her each week until she was ready to come home. She has a certain peace and wisdom about her. She loves playing with her canine siblings, Jack and Basil. She loves swimming in our pool, and thought the beach was all right. She is making friends with Max our cat. It feels like she has been with us forever. She is so sweet, loving, and intelligent. She enjoys her rope toys and has been fetching since eight weeks. Her Christmas picture made it to our local paper's photo competition. We know she is an angel in disguise, and just love her to death.

Beatie is soooo cute, I love this picture it looks like she has a spiked hairdo-haha, just too cute!!!! I also love your profile, it is so wonderful that you both visited her before you took her home! That is why she has that peace about her that you speak of, it is because she knew both of you and not just given to strangers when suddenly pulled from her momma, siblings, and initial human caregivers(basically everything she has known since birth) like most puppies are. You were familiar to her so it wasn't so traumatic for her. You are very special people to have taken the time to spend with her to make her feel at ease through the transition. She is a very lucky little pup to have been blessed with such a loving home! Goodluck and Best Wishes for lots of love and many years with your Beatie as well as Jack, Basil and of course Max!!!

What a beauty she is , you are blessed to have her , but i have to put in a word about rope toys , my friend lost her 8 month old lab puppy , after major surgery , and it was caused by a rope toy that got stuck in the intestines , i wont buy anything with rope for my 5 furkids !! god bles , and have fun with her , hugs from us in florida 1

You are a gorgeous young lady! I've learned that if you are nice to the cat, he will tolerate you. Ignore the cat, and he will be insulted, (easy to do) and will hide your favorite toy where you can't get to it. You NEVER want to insult a cat... I'd tell you what they do, but they have censors here.

It blows my mind, the cuteness of this breed. I mean for real, is there anything cuter than a lab/retriever face. They are simply irresistible and Beatrix my love, you are the perfect example of why. Look at that FACE!!!! God Bless for ever sweetie!

Beatie has a look of love, humour, intelligence, silliness, and wisdom in just this picture!!! She is absolutely, positively divine.
