Breed: Australian Cattle Dog / Border Collie
Meet Bonzai, a border collie / blue heeler puppy! She had a rough start in life and was scared of everyone and everything, but she has really come out of her shell. Her favorite games are fetch, annoying big sister Shenzi, chewing on Dad, spending time with Mom at work, and anything that involves meeting new people. She's very smart and could play all day, but is quite happy to relax and watch TV in the evenings with her family.

Love her markings. Her face reminds me of that yin yang symbol with the swirl of black and silver, with her eye in the middle of each area. Look up "yin yang symbol" and you'll see what I mean. Pretty girl, and lucky to have found you too!
And it's also appropriate that you named her Bonzai... her middle name could be Yin Yang. Bonzai Yin Yang... ; ))

Wow. Her markings are stunning. We have an aussie cattle dog/border collie mix too and our Daisy looked a lot like Bonzai at that age, only with 'red' markings - same eye patch and everything. I think you'll find her to be a fantastic frisbee dog too! Thanks for sharing her with us.

Bonzai is just gorgeous! Wow! And a cross between a Border and an Aussie might render a dog smart enough to master the master. I had two Border Collies and still mourn their passing. People think they are all energy but I found them to be very affectionate and so very easy to train. Bonzai's markings are perfect and work perfectly in black and white too. Love Bonzai.

Bonzai is utterly adorable! Our beloved dog, Henry, is the same mix, though tri-colored. We adopted him at age 2 and he was very shy and quiet, but once he felt at home with us, he became very warm and friendly. He loves our kids and their friends, our cats and other pets, and his favorite thing is meeting new dogs on our walks. Henry is 11 now, in good health. He is my constant companion throughout my day. I feel certain that Bonzai will be just as special for you! Congrats!

Bonzai's face is almost identical to my Diego's! Diego is a blue heeler & Australian shepherd mix and they definitely could be twins except for tail length. Enjoy this sweetheart...she is adorable!
