My name is Buffy and I was adopted from the Humane Society of Utah. They had told my mom and dad that I was a Rottweiler / German shepherd mix but when they took me to my first vet appointment Dr. Pam said I was a Shiba Inu mix! Boy were they surprised! But it didn't matter to them what kind of dog I was; they love me so much and I'm very spoiled. My favorite thing in the whole world is playing with my big brother Tibor; we have grown to be the best of friends. I just love my new family!

I think Buffy is a mixture of gorgeous and beautiful. Wonderful that you adopted her. She looks like a really fun pup. Big bunches of biscuits for Buffy and Tibor - what a nice pet family. I love the pic on the swing too - every pic was nicer than the last one, hard to choose.
Buffy you are just adorable! I was playing with a puppy at Petsmart the other day, she had been adopted from the Humane Society also (Indiana) and she looked just like you. Her new mommy had no idea what she was mixed with. I wish I could tell her!! That little Lucy was as cute as a button and looked just like you Buffy!! I am so happy you are in a new loving home!!

Hey..great looking puppy; however, I think you were right with the Rott/Shep mix, I had one and she looked very much like Buffy. Besides, her paws look quite large in the photos. I have a Shiba Inu mix now, and he looks totally different than Buffy, only thing that is the same is the coloring. I would go with the Rott mix..they are great dogs..but either way..Buffy is extremely cute!

I've had several Rottie puppies, and I can tell you she does look like a Rottie puppy. So their must be some Rottie in there somewhere. Rotties are very smart and loveable. Congrats on your new puppy!!!!

I love the way Buffy's paw is sort of kicked out in front in this picture--she really looks like she is prancing through the snow, having a great time! Is it possible she could be a Rottweiler/Shiba mix? I think I can see both in her, but I'm certainly no expert! :o) Whatever kind of a mix Buffy is, the result is an adorable puppy! Hope you will post grown-up pics so we can see what she looks like!

Entlei Bucher (sp) mix, perhaps? Although this breed is rare in the US (it's a very small version of the Bernese Mountain Dog), there are several in Utah and just maybe one got loose and "hopped the fence" and hooked up with another small breed. Whatever, Buffy looks like a great pup. Many happy adventures in the snow and with your big brother, Buffy.
