Dennis is a little monster but extremely lovable, quick to learn, and loves to please. At four months old, he walks to heel without a lead and can sit and go to toilet on command. He adores us all and we adore him too! He has a big "brother" Eric, another Westie from the United Kingdom, and they make a really handsome pair. Dennis loves to steal shoes and anything belonging to Eric. He also loves to dig holes to bury treats (but seems to forget where he put them). I just love these little white fur balls, and in my mind it's, "once a Westie, always a Westie!"

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments and biscuits! He really is a little sweetheart and totally irresitable (except when he sees a cat but then that's a different story!).

How could such a cute pup be referred to as a monster? Not one thing about Dennis seems monsterous! Let's give him a couple boxes of bones...and some chew toys (old shoes will do just fine).

How funny is it that so many westies are called little monsters? We used to call our westie that all the time - and he was a little monster! Dennis is adorable - I wish you many years of happiness with him. Give him lots of belly rubs and tons of biscuts to make up for the ones that he has buried!

Love the names of your Westies. They are darling dogs, and I've often said that if we were to get a third dog, it would be a Westie. We're the proud parents of two "little brown dogs" aka Border Terriers, and love them to pieces. Thanks for sharing..

We have 2 Jack Russels and one Westie, Tucker. Tucker is really our grandog, but he has lived with us for 4 years now. He is all terrier but not crazy like Charlie and Morti. We love all our dogs, but when it is time to get another, we will want a Westie. We strongly agree with your statement " Once a Westie, always a Westie!"

I think he's actually smiling in this picture!! I would LOVE a Westie - how do they do for people with allergies? We already have a mini-Shih tzu and a maltipoo. This dog is ADORABLE!!

Dennis is one extremely handsome fellow. Terriers can be little terrors - I grew up with Smooth Coat Fox Terriers, but had a Westie when I was in college. They can be a handful, but when they look at you with those excitable little eyes, they just melt your heart. RESISTANCE IS FUTILE!!

Well, he is definitely a cute little monster!! All the pictures were so great; I couldn't pick a favorite! I like this one because of Dennis's cute little paws. Yes - they can yap if someone or something strange dares to come near the house! Make great guard dogs for that reason. And in response to a previous question Dennis does seem to shed a little but Eric my older pup doesn't.

I love your westie photos. They brought a smile to my face. I have two westies, Jack and Pete. Two years ago on Christmas day, I lost my precious westie boy Fred. I never cried so hard in my whole life. I had to get two to replace the one; both from a westie rescue. Westies are the BEST dogs ever. Enjoy your boy!
