I WANT HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE IS SUCH A TEDDY BEAR!!!!!!!!! LOVE HIS NAME. LOVE HIS FACE. LOVE IS COAT. LOVE HIS NOSE. JUST LOVE HIM ALTOGETHER!!!!! HAVE A LIFETIME OF FUN WITH THIS SPECIAL COMPANION! I AM SO SO JEALOUS!!!!!!! CUDDLE HIM LOTS!!!!!
OMG! "Fuhrgus'! You are just ADORABLE! Look at that wet furry face with your tongue sticking out! TOO CUTE!!!!! I could snuggle you ALL day! What a dog! I want ONE!!!!!
oh, oh, oh...I want to cuddle you sooooo much Fuhrgus!...Oh and kisses too! What a SWEET arm full! I am on the hunt for a goldendoodle now! MWAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
Okay, I shouldn't be saying this, because my own pup has a wonderfully sweet face, but Fergus' little fuzzy face is the CUTEST! I love the tongue shot - like he's saying "Plllflflflflflllt!" or however you spell a "raspberry"!
What a way to start my day, by seeing this prosh pup!!
I'm upset that this angel has a shock collar. Some of the pictures have him looking very frightened. He is so precious but his eyes are scared. He should be cocky and owning the world at this age.
Isa- good call! I didn't notice at first and i'm ashamed that i didn't. Most people don't. I agree with you and after relooking it was plain to see. Hopefully things will change for the better.
I don't think this is a shock collar in that sense of the word, it looks like one of the remote collars used for the underground fences. We use this and even my hard-headed rott-mix very quickly learned the perimeter! Ours is set up to give a tone first, then a tone and a heavy vibration, then as a last resort the "shock". I think this is more humane than risking the dog running off the property and getting hit by a car, stolen (not that any of us would EVER consider snitching this little cutie) or lost in the snow!! And not everybody can afford fencing their property.
I don't see fear in his eyes at all. He looks just fine.
Actually, on second thought, he looks more than fine; he looks FREAKIN' ADORABLE!!!!!!
GOOD GRIEF!
JUST LOOK AT THAT FACE!
Fergus, you are clearly made by Gund (or some other reputable purveyor of stuffed animals). I bet if I were to flip you onto your back, there would be a small tag on your belly, proudly displaying your brand of craftsmanship. Your nose cannot be real. I mean, seriously.
I don't see a shock collar. It looks like an adjustable collar and the black part you see is the black plastic part where it clips shut (looks big because it's on such a small neck). The buckle part where it adjusts makes it stick out a bit too so it seems bulkier. Also I have yet to see a "decorative" shock collar. If you cursor over the first picture and make your mouse highlight it enough to really wash it out you can easily see the features of the adjustable collar and that it is not a shock collar.
Now, more to the point, very cute pup! He looks like he will be a little lover!
I agree with Isa on the level that this pup doesn't look joyous or happy... he has a certain reserve in his eyes and mouth, he looks guarded. It could be just his nature though.
He is gorgeous and sweet. Fergus...smile!
I love the photography, but how hard could it have been with such a great subject. Love the last picture of Fergus all cuddled up snug and warm after a hard day playing in the snow! He's a sweetheart.
Yeah, our neighbor has an invisible fence. Their dog almost got hit by cars a couple times before they got the fence, and I think it was a wize choice. However, it could be one of these collars that shocks a dog when he barks. Does he happen to bark a lot? Oh well. A really sweet looking dog. 11 bones!
Its me again... on second thought, like several people said above, it doesn't really look like a shock collar - just a normal collar that's a little bulky. In the second picture, you can even see paw prints on it.
That is not a shock collar. A very sweet looking puppy. I am upset that those breeding this mixed breed dog are charging so much money for a non purebred dog. There is nothing wrong with a mixed breed - on the contrary but if the dog is not purebred the price should not be so high.
fergus is adorable!
Fergus, what a real SWEETY!!! He looks so innocient, with those melted choclate eyes!! Looks like this younster is ready to play and explore his world!
Definitely a cutie. But I agree with others about his wary look. His head is down in at least 3 pics, and he never "smiles" or looks happy once. Not sure what to think about this one... our puppy was very timid about the world when we first got her too, though, so you never can tell. I have never used a shock collar, so I can't say for sure if that is one or not. Hope he perks up soon! What a sweet, cuddly boy!
On second look, maybe he was just acting uncertain on photo day because he was getting used to his new place? He looks equally guarded inside and outside. If these photos were taken on his first day home, that could be it. A puppy has a lot to absorb on that day - especially if a bath is included! Just a thought. Love the picture of him sleeping so soundly!
This type of breed is used frequently as guidedogs. They are pretty popular now. I think the mom or dad should address the question of whether or not this is a shock collar. I'm not a fan of those at all! Very cute puppy but does look a little sad or could be tired from puppy playing.
Goldendoodle?! How cute. What is that a mix of?? Looks like a Golden Retriever and a Poodle. What a cute combo!!!!
Must be a sweet puppy.

you will never believe this one! We have a golden doodle (now 3 years old) and his name is Fergus! he is on the lighter side, not the golden side, but he is a cutie!....So is your Fergus!
Fergus, what a great name! Your coat looks so soft, clean too, mmmm.
About the collar. This is a young, little puppy with a new adjustable collar on. Fergus has some room to grow in it. Nothing shocking about it.
About the breed, a Goldendoodle is a cross between a (standard) Poodle and a Golden Retriever. Not a Labrador, that makes a Labradoodle. Goldendoodle does sound like a cheesy snack food though. Lots going on between those fluffy ears with this hybrid. Could be the "look" people have noticed. Fergus is thinking we're all silly!
Come on! It aint a shock collar! He looks like a normal, sweet, happy pup It doesn't have to be that every dog has to "smile" in every picture to show that he's fine!
