Frida's mom says: Frida (her namesake is the Mexico artist Frida Kahlo) is a pit bull mixed with something or somethings. People have guessed she has lab, beagle, Australian cattle dog and/or rottweiler in her. We adopted her from the county shelter, which was a very sad place. She had kennel cough and was very underweight. She's doing great now and is super friendly, very protective of us, and quite playful. I would encourage anyone to adopt a dog from a shelter - she may not be a purebred and she didn't cost very much, but she is the best dog ever. She was about two months old in the first photo but has grown quite a bit. She now weighs about 40 lbs now at eight months but is still very cute!
