What a babe. True lover of the breed. Does she know how to Shag yet? We have 2, Annie Beans (black & Tan) and Miss Dixie(Brown Short Haired)) who are both very special. Love the pic with Dad & Dawg. Get Her a racquet ball, found it to be the one of the best toys. Fits the mouth, doesn't mark the walls if throw it the house and they are very pliable. Thanks to Scobig for the info for adoption.

She IS beautiful, but isn't there a LOT of doxies in the Daily Puppy recently? I also noticed dogs being reused from past months. I am one of the people whose sent pics of their dog in, and they haven't been excepted... why can't you take the new ones instead of reusing old submissions?

PSS I have to say, my husband was a little embarrased to have his photo included on this web site --- but I said it showed so much love between him and the pup, and, honey (as in husband honey, not Honey dog), they are looking at the puppy, not you. She is an absolute DOLL!!!!!!

She is very cute. I haven't seen a blond long haired dachshund either before. was one of her parents a golden retriever or two dachshunds? We never got the chance to see our pups that small because they have to be four months or something before they can be put on an airplane. But the next time we get one from the breeder in California, I think we may go out ourselves so we can enjoy the time when they can fit in the palm of your hand. Our pups were still cute, but they could of been much cuter for a longer period of time. i know i posted this on the other dachshund post but in case you didn't see it the first time here it is again...enjoy :)
I myself actually have two Dachshunds. Katie whom is two years old is a red and we got her a good breeder out in California. Tony is a black/tan is a tweenie because he's not as small as a miniature he mate with a but not quite as big as a full size. We got Tony whom is four now from California too, but not from a breeder. My oldest brother is actually a cop out there and he had apparently did something nice for this old couple When the husband passed away the wife couldn't take care of Tony and no buddy else in the family was interested in taking him. So the wife dropped Tony off at the police station for my brother. He already had two Dachshunds and another dog. Apparently the limit on dogs per house in Cali is three so Tony cam all the way to New Jersey and he loves it here. I love them both as much as you love Abigail whom is very sweet. Go Dachshunds!!!

I agree with others in saying that it is extremely hard to just pick one photo since each is unique in their own way. But I picked this one in particular because it looks like she hasn't grown into her ears yet. I love dachshunds because they each have an interesting personality. They may be tiny ,but don't let them know that, my pups walk right up to the bigger dogs without any fear and they try to take control which can be funny sometimes. best of Luck!!!
