A pretty little Siberian Husky..We had one who looked just like her named Alyeska BTW:Laik a is not the Russian word for husky..A Laika is an entirely different Russian breed..One was sent into space and returned long ago and one of her pups was given to the children of a US president..To my knowledge a Husky has never lived in the White House.

OMG yes adorable to the extreme degree. Let us all pause a moment and remember that the Russian dog Laika, sent up into space, died in her space capsule, presumbably of hunger and thirst. One of men's callous and inhumane treatments of animals. Who needs to go to space? No one. We could take all that money spent on space research and use it to make a better world for us and our animals here and now on this earth.
