Gorgeous. This is my absolute favourite breed and I'm actually getting sad now thinking of our old shepherd Una. They are beautiful, loving, noble, yet humourous animals and so clever its scary. Una liked to fish too. Once she slurped a whole eel down like a piece of spaghetti.

i love german shepherds so much. they are so smart so loyal so gentle so sweet. i grew up with 3 at home. wonderful memories. layla sounds like a delight and is beautiful. they love to work or keep busy at something. thats when they are the most fulfilled. teach her something to do.

Yes - those 'needle' teeth can be sharp & painful (even tho they're just Playing!)... The only time I shed blood at SPCA where I volunteer was when little puppy got me! Layla is Lovely!! Wishing you (and your whole brood) many happy years to come!!

What a little fluffy muffin Layla is. So pretty with such expressive eyes. I laughed at the comment about those puppy teeth, it's so true, they are sharp! But she'll learned her manners quickly, she's such a smart little girl, I'm sure. You also will have many laughs as those ears "surprise" ears finally stand up. It's the cutest thing.

What a beauty! Get her into Puppy Kindergarten so she gets an early start on her obedience training... An untrained GSD can be quite a handful! If you've never had a GSD, you are in for such a treat! This little baby will grow up to be your best friend (literally).
