Libby's got some Smooth Fox Terrier in her somewhere - or the SFT's working cousin, the Rat Terrier. She'll be a busy, happy girl. Have fun with her.

Libby is so beautiful. It's hard to believe she had to stay in so many foster homes before being adopted. But thanks to you, she now has a forever home and seems so very happy. Cyberhugz

Libby looks like a sweet soul. The white markings on her face remind me of my childhood dog Pepper. She was Dalmatian/Black Lab mix. However Libby here looks like she might have some Beagle (in the face)too. I've heard of labs that will test your dog to determine lineage, have you asked you Vet. if they do this?

Well it looks like the 7th time is the charm-er!!! Libby you're a doll, such a beauty and I know your family will love, love, love you!!!
Sep 2, 2013 chelsearosebud
Libby, you are the very sweetest and I couldn't be more happy you have a loving, safe forever home and family. This is your birthright versus a country road in Oklahoma.

Congrats Libby on your seventh try. Seven is a number mentioned many times in the Bible. The number seven had its roots in ancient Jewish history and Solomon took seven years to build the temple in Jerusalem. The Torah mentions that the Sabbatical , or holy year, occurred every seven years. Even the Israelites were told to march around the walls of Jericho seven times, and their enemies would be defeated.Revelations 1:16 states," He had in his right hand seven stars." Also in Revelations, the number of seals is seven. The ancient Greeks considered the number seven to be lucky. They believed it to be the perfect number. The Arabs carried on this belief and built seven holy temples.nThe Goths made sure they worshiped the seven deities. The Japanese also had seven gods. Even the Scottish Masons made sure the number seven had relevance in their rites, and their aprons were made with seven tassels on them.

Well the DNA Lab tests have just come in: Species: Canine Companion Breed: Whatever Sub-Species: Adorable I hope that answers all your questions.

Those little tan dots over the eyes are pure rat terrier. I've had all kinds of terriers all my life and Libby could have sat in a lineup with the rat terriers and looked like a sibling. She looks a bit like a smooth fox terrier (as do all rat terriers) except that her ears don't sit up quite high enough on the fold for that. (I had a rescue smooth fox who was found walking down the freeway - must be a terrier thing, Libby.) Some rat terriers have upright ears, but not all; they can be fold-over ears as well. How big is Libby?

Libby is very adorable and does look a lot like Oakley! How old is she now and how much does she weigh?

Aww she has the sweetest face. Kisses! LOVE the eyebrow dots! :)

100% adorable; blessings to all!
Sep 2, 2013 shelldade
She's 5 mo and about 22#'s. We initially thought Rat Terrier, Jack Russell, but the Smooth Fox Terrier is appearing a favorite suggestion.

What a dear! And what a rough start. Now she is in safe hands. Good for you taking her in. Please take the best care of her for the rest of her life.

Whatever breed(s) she is Libby has a GREAT smile!

I know what breed you are.....the best kind. Mixed breed! Libby is the cutest baby girl! XOXO!

Adorable dog. I think, however, when people have a mutt they go through all kinds contortions to describe their dogs. If the dog was found on a country road (as mine was too) there is no chance that they were present at the birth to verify the parents. Most mutts are the children of mutts, and to say more than "a terrier mix" or a "poodle mix"is really pushing it.
Sep 2, 2013 pbailey
Definitely some Jack in her. Shaking the toy and her nose. They have a look all their own. Very cute puppy.
Sep 2, 2013 esquiredon
Reminds me of "Nipper" the RCA Victor dog. Very cute!

Libby is totally adorable!!!

Libby, you are just a precious little squirt...
Sep 3, 2013 swanruadha
Show that chicken who's boss! Oh, half the fun of a mix is guessing! And throwing in the NON-canine parts--we have mountain goat, puma (likes to lie in wait on the backs of chairs), some kind of squeaky bird, gator--depends on recent behaviour!
Sep 3, 2013 piobaire
Aw, be sure to love her extra hard. She's likely to have abandonment issues, but look at that face? How could you not love her?
Sep 4, 2013 mks2774
She looks like half beagle half jack russell. Such a sweet face! Hugs and lots of kisses!
Sep 4, 2013 Cindylu001
Raven, I used to tell my mixed breed dog she was All Tildy, All the Time (that was her name, Tildy), and it was true too. When I had her DNA tested, I found out she was German Pinscher and French Bulldog on one side and Shar Pei and anothr big dog breed on the other, so it turned out I was right--she WAS All Tildy, All the Time! So, little Libby, you're all Libby, and I love your polka dots on the legs. Very fetching!
Sep 4, 2013 nancybatt1
