Awwwwr! He's a real cutie indeed! I miss the true 'puppy' age, but I was willing to give it up to get a smart dog fully clicker trained and ready for commands. He sounds like he's a perfect clicker candidate himself.

I <3 Golden Puppies! YHDMWYC!!!

A friend of our's had a 10 month old golden walk, literally, into his life one Saturday. The Vet said all he could say was "99%" goldenh, because she was a stray! That beloved dog lived until she was about 13 I believe and she was the most devoted animal to this man that I have ever witnessed. Before she passed, he had gotten another puppy, this time, with papers and also a female golden. The first dog, Peaches, taught the puppy, Sugar, everything she needed to know and Sugar is now the Lady in our friend's life and she lives in Sarasota and loves the pool! She even gets to swim with him in the canal that runs by their home! I hope that Lucas will grow up to be the most perfect companion that these lovely lady dogs did. He is the same color as Peaches, whereas Sugar was a bit more reddish. He is most certainly the cutest puppy I have seen in a while.

Lucas- you are adorable!! So fluffy and fuzzy! I hate to tell you this, but you look more like our Pyr when he was a pup, than our Golden pup...either way, you 're a big ball of love! Your folks are in for a lot of fun!

Except for the black belly, Lucas could be a reincarnation of my baby "Jet" who passed over the rainbow bridge a year ago at the ripe old age of 16!! May Lucas give you as much joy and affection as Jet did to me. I still miss him! Special Goldens can never be replaced. Enjoy him and please be sure to give him many hugs and kisses from me.
