Years ago we also adopted a dog who had been abandoned in the country & we found her walking down the middle of the road! Needless to say, we scooped her right up & never regretted adopting her! Good to know she's found a loving home. I don't know what goes through people's minds to just discard of a litter (or even 1 puppy). Lately we've found beautiful golden retriever puppies in a box under a bridge and took them to a pet store. In 2 days they were all sold.
