Puppy Breed: Bernese Mountain Dog

Maddington's mom says: Maddie is a Bernese mountain dog. She loves swimming, canoeing, hiking, and being outdoors, but she also loves sleeping in and hogging the bed. She's just under four months old in this picture and is ascending her first mountain!

The belly shot made me snarf coffee. You should really warn people before exposing them to such a gratuitous level of belly, especially first thing in the morning. That thing is dangerously adorable. Good thing I can't come to this website while driving!

She sure has a beautiful blade - wish I'd put pics of Sam my berner when he was a pup. The roll around on the back with the belly up is SUCH a berner thing :-) - means you have one happy puppy! Enjoy your berner - they are GREAT friends. And, biy, do they use those front paws!

Thanks for all the bones! She sure is a happy puppy. She does a lot of laying in front of the a/c these days (anything over about 60 degrees and she starts to pant) but she also loves getting in a good swim. And she's the best snuggler I know.
