Labs are the BEST! I love to see a wet lab because that means they have been having the best of times. My beautiful black lab, Ellie and our cat, Maggie, took awhile to get along, certainly not because of Ellie:) Now, Maggie rubs up against Ellie when she thinks no one is looking.

had to comment on this pic too...I have one very similar of my Lab Zack when he was this age...except mine was sporting a bright blue cast on his baby leg! mako seems to be a great, energetic, typical Lab! Be sure to give him lots of love and he'll only be half as naughty!

He's adorable. He reminds me so much of my black lab Flo. He'll probably be taller and more athletic or slimmer, rather than pudgy, as a grown up. It's rare I see a lab resembling Flo's body type.

Ahhhh...I have always had Labbys, and I'm a firm believer that a "wet Lab is a happy Lab"! They do love the water. And yes, if anyone were to look closely (providing Mako would stand or sit still for a minute or two, they'd see that indeed, Labs DO have webbed feet! Between the webbed feet and the strong "otter tail", that doubles as a "rudder", they're terrific water dogs. Of course, along with that comes the muddy dog that loves puddles on a rainy day! What a cutie-pie!
